Wanted to have wanton mee for my solo dinner and suddenly remembered that this gem of a place that is super closed to my place๐. I have been a loyal patron for the past 10 years, seeing them start out from a small store and now occupying 2 lots straight! This place serves everything from rice to noodles to congee and even dimsum (not something i'l recommend tho). I highly recommend their noodle dishes. I ordered the char siew wonton noodle (RM8) as they ran out of their ever so yummy roasted pork. I would suggest you to come during brunch or if you would like some wonton noodles for dinner, that's fine too! As for drinks, do order their hot soya bean, super milky and not sickeningly sweet.
Finally made it to Lat tali lat to try out their lamb and aligot dish. The mash tasted AMAZING! Super generous with the cheese, leaving it gooey and smooth. The lamb was really tender, slid right off the bone and was perfectly marinated. The price was even more unbelievable at only RM30. OH! Do try out their glass noodle salad (the GNS @ RM10). Super refreshing and bear in mind that it's a huge portion! Unfortunately, this lamb dish is not in their menu and they only catered it for a special event upon request. Things to try out: GNS, buttermilk udon and buttermilk chicken rice! All below RM20! *closed on tuesdays
Crispy on the outside, tender on in the inside๐
Porto fino invited us over to sample their valentines day selections and the star of the night for me was this cheesyyy gnocchi. The gorgonzola cheese was pungent and creamy, just the way i like my cheese to be. Also, the dish comes with a few strips of pan fried chicken that gives your palette a change of taste. I would recommend to share this dish as all things cheesy will eventually lead to the jelak point. Also loved their tomato bruschetta and for dessert the panna cotta is a must ๐
Food here was very mediocre . It was one of those restaurant roullette days.๐ RM16.90 for this was quite painful to fork out for the lack of flavour of the sauce and the greasy ๐. Oh well ๐
What's a cny dinner without chinese food? ๐. We initially was heading to klang for an open house and as usual we got hungry and nobody has had any dinner yet so my friend from klang recommended this seafood restaurant. The star of the night was this fish & taro soup. Price range ( RM50+) for mind you a very big pot of soup with tons of fish. Their oatmeal prawn was bomb as well and strange enough, so was the tofu! If you're feeling a little under the weather and need some fish soup kick. Do try this place out!
I've been a loyal patron at upstairs cafe for a good 4 years now and i can always depend on upstair's for a good brunch spot. This cafe is indeed halal and serves an array of main courses from sandwiches to lamb stew. RM15.90 for this runny yolk of a hot mess (in a good way). Also, their hot latte is a must order for me as well!
So, we decided to have our little reunion dinner for CNY and so we all decided on steamboat. As most places were closed, we decided to try out this place in sri petaling, located next to the chilli pan mee store. THIS PLACE HAD THE WORST SERVICE EVER. We started eating at 7 and only ended at 9, NOT BECAUSE of the amount of food we ordered but it was because of how slow the service was. A glass of ice water took 40 minutes to arrive after egging on them numerous times. Also, they got our order wrong twice and also they inserted a jug of herbal tea that we did not drink/order and when i pointed it out, they still insisted that i did order it. The only upside to this meal was the deep friend fuchuk. Never going back to this place ever. *drops mic*
I was shopping around in jaya grocer's and naturally got hungry! I've been dining at frescos for many years now and it's one of those quick, fuss free dining places. I opted for the roasted chicken in cream sauce and a salad and cheesy mash potato side. This is why my new years resolution never begins with a I'm going to go on a diet๐. Price range was about RM25 ish for this dish. I wished that they would ease up on the salad dressing. Loved the cream sauce and the mash potato is always on point! Location: IN jaya grocer's itself ๐, behind the cashier area. You can't miss it!
RM1.50 for this roti bakar! Can't remember the last time I could eat something for RM1.50! Located in pj new town, next to strawberry fields!
