If there was one pasta, that I could eat for the rest of my life, it would be this plate of golden soft shell crab pasta. I have been loving this pasta ever since it was served in Plan B & Ben's and now only available in Ben's. Love the hints of chilli padi which adds a kick together with the fragrant curry leaves, tossed together with their parmigiano reggiano sauce. The only downside to this dish is the price tag! RM36 is a hefty price for a plate of pasta.

This bowl of mushroom soup (RM10) was a no go for me. I wouldn't classify it as a mushroom soup. It was more of a cream soup with thinly sliced mushroom bits. The bread however, was the consolation in all this.

Another porky place hidden in Taipan that emphasizes on family sharing portions. We ordered this as the pasta is served with an onsen egg. Who could possibly say no to an onsen egg. RM 19.90 for this dish and you must order their side of potatoes and cheese! It kind of reminded me of tater tots⭐️

I know, i'm super late to the game but better late than never! I finally decided to try out coco steamboat and their famous pork bone soup. Everything on the table summed up to RM107. I wouldn't consider this as a cheap option if you're looking to dine with a budget, but then again, most steamboat places are priced around the same. The broth was super flavourful and to my suprise, not much MSG was added as i didn't feel the need to jug and entire jug of water like I would normally need to. I would skip out on ordering the lamb as it wasn't fresh in my opinion. If you're late to the game like I was, I would suggest you to visit this place when the steamboat crave hits.

We were looking for a new place to dine in mid valley and so happened to chance upon this restaurant. Super gimmicky interior and fun signages around, great for birthday parties or groups. I ordered the tomahawk pork ribs (RM48). Taste wise, it was alright and nothing to shout about, however the size and the price was just super ridiculous being that this was only ONE rib. The chunk on the top was just pure fats and there was hardly any meat. This is a one off visit kind of place.

Now, this is one of the dessert pastries that live up to the hype. Limited pieces are baked and is usually sold out by 1pm. This was worth every penny, RM11 to be exact. The salted egg yolk sauce was a perfect balance between savoury and sweet and is light enough for every bite. I usually can never finish anything salted egg yolk base, but this, I could eat the entire thing. I would suggest you to go early to make sure that you get a piece of this super yummy cronut. As for mains, skip out on the eggs benny and the soft shell crab burger is alright too.
