The soup is not as milky as expected which is good because you wonβt get jelat even after drinking the entire claypot. We added bee hoon and soup, total bill about $90++. Crab was fresh, 800g sufficient for a couple. Sambal kangkong was a super fresh, one of the best kangkong Iβve had! Pork belly didnβt disappoint as well. Prompt and friendly service! Will be back again!
A vibrantly coloured dish that brightens up the morning. Itβs a mess of everything nice. Smoked salmon on toast, with creamy scrambled eggs, topped with salmon roe. Complete with everything else I donβt eat, beetroot and sorts.
This small cafe hidden within Bukit Timah Plaza is a such a great find!
Toast of your choice and I chose sour dough. Nicely toasted with creamy scrambled egg spread, topped with roasted seaweed sesame crumple, a great combination! A dollop of cream cheese was hidden beneath the eggs so watch out.
Sides came with baby spinach, guacamole. Would love this hearty breakfast again. Yums
This is my second time trying this and boy, what a great disappointment. A huge contrast from the first time one year ago, when the meat was tender and fell off the bone easily. This one was hard to bite and chew, sauce was ordinary hickory BBQ style. Hope the standard goes back up again.
Thumbs down ππΌ
Well marinated and nicely fried HCG, good crunch, not overly oily and the chicken was fresh and juicy. Regretted ordering the medium size (12pc) for 7 of us. Should have gone for the largest!
Stood for more than an hour for this hearty bowl. $15 with plenty of fish and prawns. The soup is great, ingredients were very fresh, but I felt thirty after.
Very comforting bowl of seafood soup. This is special because it comes with a few slabs of minced pork, deepens the flavour of the soup and adds to the satisfaction of the stomach.
My favourite place to go for ba chor mee pok.
QQ mee pok coated in the correct ratio of soy sauce, vinegar and chilli. $8 comes with very very generous amounts of liao, ba chor, meatballs, lean pork slice, pork liver, crispy salted fish and dumplings, topped with braised mushrooms and sprinkled with spring onions. Did I mention pork lard? THIS IS the ba chor mee for any craving that needs fixed!
Be prepared to queue!
A dozen of plump, juicy, oysters SO FRESH I cannot get enough!
Come with a sweater cause itβs really cold up here!
My favourite kind of breakfast, hearty bowl of pork broth with silky kuey teow, and generous amounts of bar chor and fish cake. Pig liver cooked just on point, with the right crunch. Topped with braised mushrooms mixed with the soup. Canβt tell you how much youβre missing out on this one.
Note! Waiting time can take 1h so come prepared!
Only opens in the morning till sold out
Lobster, cheese and bacon in a toasted sesame brioche. The lobster that came in one generous chunk was incredibly fresh and succulent. The cheese may have slightly overwhelmed the lobster, but overall the burger was quite spectacular. Bacon wasnβt necessary but who doesnβt love a bacon anytime? Changed the old bay fries to truffle fries with $5 top up, and the balsamic salad with rocket leaves added a great balance to the meal. Love it!
PS: Itβs on Entertainer!
This place is a gem!
The spicy jjamppong gives a real kick of seafood goodness, very generous amount of assorted seafood. And that broth! No matter how spicy it is you canβt help but continue slurping up it all
up.
Makes me wanna go back to Korea.
Must try even if you canβt take spice!
