👍🏻 The piping hot broth was flavourful with a tangy note, with a distinct, lingering spiciness that was mellow and pleasant to the palate, without any overwhelming fiery or numbing sensation. Comprising of assorted seafood - prawns, squid and clams, the jjamppong also comes with black fungus and leeks, it’s amazing how the noodles still retained a slight chewy, QQ texture despite being soaked in the broth for quite some time (due to my long phototaking session🤭). 很有弹性!👍🏻
2️⃣Jjajangmyeon 짜장면 [7000krw ~> $8.40]
Apart from the Jjamppong, the Jjajangmyeon here was also pretty impressive, faring even better than @o.bba_jjajang ‘s one which has been my favourite JJM to date. I like how the ones here came with bigger chunks of minced meat and in a more copious amount as compared to Obba Jajjang back in my hometown. Just like the jjamppong, the noodles here retained the QQ, chewy texture even after some time. The black bean sauce was thick and flavourful, with a tinge of characteristic sweetness. Served with a generous amount of sliced onions that’s crunchy, juicy and savoury minced meat, have a good toss and mix to enjoy this bowl of noodles to its fullest! 😉
So... are you team Jajjangmyeon or Jjamppong?🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♂️.

Comprising of Royal milk tea mousse and a base of chocolate sponge, this seasonal cake is only available till 31st March! ✨ And yea... that’s the end of this month! Calling out to all royal milk tea fans, do mark your calendar now and try it before it ends! Though prices at LadyM are on the steeper side, the seasonal cakes have almost always never failed to disappoint me, and this new royal milk tea mousse cake was certainly impressive and surpassed my expectations (partly due to my bias liking for milk tea as well🤭)! 💖 The smooth and creamy royal milk tea mousse was decadent, luscious, with the characteristic flavour off Darjeeling and Assam tea here carrying off a pleasant lingering aroma with subtle floral hues.🌸 One bite and I was sold! 🥰 Crowned with a chocolate medallion (perhaps to blend in with the ‘royal’ theme 👑 ), the base of chocolate sponge was soft and fluffy, coming with a bittersweet cacao flavour that complements the fragrant royal milk tea mousse. Dear @ladymsg , please consider having this as a permanent flavour! 🙏🏻🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️ .

In conjunction with @fuxiangsignatures , I would be giving away 3 x $20 vouchers to 3 lucky readers! All you need to do from now till 10 March, 23:59 is :
- Like this post - Follow @fuxiangsignatures and @mysweetlittletooth -Comment and tag 2 friends on which new dish you would like to try most! - Wait for the good news on 11 March to stand a chance to feast on any or ALL of the 3 new dishes, exclusively at the Vivocity outlet, as featured here:
1️⃣ Assam Curry Tiger Prawns with Tang hoon [$28] - My favourite dish among all of the 3, typically because of my bias fondness for Tang Hoon! 😍💖 But of course apart from this thin, smooth glass noodles, the piping hot assam curry broth was creamy, flavourful with an aromatic spice that’s distinct, mellow and not too overwhelming. Within this deep pool of aromatic, heartwarming broth, there’s also assorted greens and deep fried beancurd skin. Trust me or not, the tang hoon really goes well with the curry that I couldn’t help reaching for a second and even third serving of it!
2️⃣ Assam Seafood Basket [$28]
Comprising of assorted seafood in a basket (or claypot) of tangy Assam broth, this is a perfect choice for all seafood lovers out there! Of mussels, scallops (my fav element here 😍), lala clams and tiger prawns, the deep red Assam broth is definitely not for the faint-hearted with its tangy, acute tings of spice that packs a punch! 🔥 As one who adores spice, I am sure on for this “challenge” of fear (or fiery) factor! 👊🏻 The seafood components are also fresh and contributed to a pleasant umami seafood-sque flavour to the Assam! 👍🏻 .
3️⃣ Sambal Crispy Pork [$6.90]
Almost everyone’s favourite dish here which I did enjoy too, especially as one who doesn’t fancy pork belly in the first place. Love how the skin of the pork belly is fried to an ideal crisp perfection that I instantly forgo the word “diet” in my dictionary! Each pork belly slice comprises of dual layers of tender lean meat and juicy fatty meat, not a fan of the latter but the spicy, aromatic and flavourful Sambal doused atop was clearly an addiction that I couldn’t help reaching out for more to go along with the rice!😋 .

Probably a flavour that’s exclusive to the country of its origin, this Bacon & Potato pizza toast comprises of omelette, mozzarella cheese, bacon, hash brown, potato slice and topped with cheddar cheese sandwiched between two crisp slices of toast. Served with pizza sauce by default (which I requested to be omitted due to personal preference), the overall combination still made a perfect satisfying meal anytime, anyday!💖 Never once disappointed when I tried Isaac Toast in Korea (in fact this is my 3rd time having it here), with the ones back in my hometown faring just mediocre and lacklustre. Requested for no corns in the omelette as well due to personal preference, which required a longer waiting time. But no regrets definitely, as it was still fluffy and complimented the stringy mozzarella cheese really well! ✨Unfortunately the hashbrown had lost a little of its crispness from the various components incorporated within, but of course this wasn’t a big issue here given that the other elements, typically the “special sauce” that was the secret factor that wowed my palate with the simple-looking yet satisfying sandwich! 😋 Would definitely not mind having this often for breakfast, lunch or dinner, given its ubiquitous outlets around Seoul. Despite it being a commercialized brand, the standard have still manage to meet up to expectation to date! Let’s hope it doesn’t decline and stay the way it is 😉! .

Milk, freshly whisked matcha (love those gorgeous shades of green🤩), topped with chamomile cream, the Matcha Blanc was milky with a subtle earthy note. The chamomile cream was smooth, creamy with a subtle floral aroma, a nice complement to the beverage. Requested for less syrup but the characteristic umami, earthy undertone of matcha was still insignificant enough for my liking, with the dairy component here stealing the limelight away. On the other hand, the flavour of tea pudding varies seasonally, with this season being a yuzu flavoured one doused with houjicha shot! 💛 The tangy, citrusy flavour of yuzu was surprisingly a good complement to the roasted earthy note of Houjicha, with the latter being more robust in tea flavour and lingering as compared to the matcha beverage. Texture wise, the pudding was also smooth, silk-like with a slight melt-in-the mouth creamy texture that I adore 😋. On a side note, there’s also Omakase tea sets served here (available only by reservation) which makes it a perfect excuse for a return visit for me! 🤭 . Really love the zen vibes here that comes with a welcoming service as well! Blankets are also provided when you dining at the al fresco area, which I did and enjoyed greatly - high tea with a good view, why not? 😉
.
[PS: The cafe is pretty small and cozy with limited seats, full house when I visited on Saturday. To avoid disappointment or long waiting time, be sure to make a reservation when you visit!] .

The latest seasonal flavour that’s recently introduced, the sausage king ramen comprises of chorizo slices lying on a bed of smooth creamy mash, sauerkraut, water cress and a long, thick and huge chorizo sausage all in a bowl of piping hot tonkotsu soup based ramen. Perhaps this is like a fusion of a German x Japanese cuisine, imagine bangers & mash with ramen? 🤔 A heavy carbs and protein-loaded dish that could easily fill me up for 2 meals🤭✌🏻.The chorizo sausage is tender, juicy and stuffed with grounded meat fillings (swipe to view), adding a pleasant savoury umami note. As the smooth creamy mash is mixed into the flavourful and umami-packed tonkotsu broth, it adds on a more creamy impact which can be a tad overwhelming for the faint hearted. Would personally prefer having the 2 elements here separately! The addition of sauerkraut might perhaps work better having it in silo instead of incorporating into the ramen soup, with its tangy flavour being an acquired one to the palate. As much as I love sausages, I would personally prefer having the components of “bangers & mash” separately, perhaps as a side to the ramen instead of incorporating them all in one. Sausage or Truffle king? Definitely the latter for me! 👍🏻.
.
[PS: Seasonal Sausage King ramen is only available for a limited time, while stocks last!] .

The cheesecake is smooth and creamy, leaning towards the rich, denser side but given the size, it was easily manageable for one without any overwhelming aftermath. Though the characteristic earthy notes of green tea wasn’t prominent here, the cheesecake was still luscious and enjoyable as a dessert on its own, without associating it with matcha 🤭.
.
2️⃣Houji tea chocolate bamkuchen roll [5800 krw~> $7]
Houjicha tea cream encased within a chocolate flavoured bamkuchen roll that’s soft and sufficiently moist, the characteristic roasted flavour was pretty distinct and lingering here, which caught me by pleasant surprise. Wasn’t expecting much from this but it still managed to meet expectations, with an aromatic roasted flavour, despite the chocolate being somewhat negligible here 😅 .
.
3️⃣Iced green tea double shot latte [7000 krw ~> $8.40]
Served without syrup (yay to a stronger matcha beverage✌🏻), the price may be steep for a beverage but it certainly did not disappoint, with its prominent earthy flavour and a lingering bitter undertone. That’s how I like my matcha to be - intense, earthy with no other extrinsic sweetness! 💚 .

This may seem like a normal toast but it sure and definitely surpassed expectations greatly and got me sold on my first bite! 😋 A stark contrast to @eggstopsg back in my hometown, every component here was much better, even the toast which was soft and fluffy, with slightly crisp edges and was sufficiently moist unlike the rock-hard, dry and overly crispy ones in Egg Stop. The scrambled eggs, though not the best ones I’ve had, was decent still, fluffy and freshly prepared upon order. The bacon streaks were tender with minimal layers of fats, adding a pleasant savoury note and a tinge of saltiness. The sauce within the thick and fluffy toast was the one that wowed my tastebuds, coming with a pleasant piquant flavour that was the major factor to my consistent compliments for this simple-looking yet amazing toast! 🍞 Imo this works better for me than Isaac Toast! 👍🏻 Wouldn’t mind having it on a frequent basis for breakfast or brunch! 💕 .

Though my main purpose for travelling a long journey here was for the Matcha Hard Latte (swipe to view), I decided to check out the other cakes / pastries here so as to make my trip more fulfilling 😅🤭. Wanted to try the Earl grey cake initially but it was sold out when I arrived ~6pm+ (was kind of lost and took ~1hr to travel to here from myeongdong)! Hence I settled for the Ispahan as featured here, which come in a gorgeous pink hue with a shape that reminds me of a gigantic Hershey’s kisses chocolate! 💋 With an interior of yogurt mousse, raspberry jelly and cream, this Hershey kisses-alike cake lies on a base of almond sable that added a pleasant crisp mouthfeel to the smooth, creamy fillings. On the downside, the raspberry cream and raspberry jelly was a tad too sweet for my liking, not as tangy and sour as I had expected, and the same applies to the yogurt mousse as well. Despite that, being one with a sweet tooth, I still enjoyed the cake, though no something I would crave or go for on a regular basis. On the other hand, the Matcha Hard Latte comes in a unique presentation of matcha iced latte along with a matcha popsicle stick topped with torched marshmallow. Visuals on point, but the matcha flavour leans towards the sweet, milky flavour profile that’s definitely not for the hardcore matchaholics ⚠️ That aside, I will still be back to check out their pastries ie crossaints, scones and of course, for the earl grey cake! On a side note, there’s also weekday brunch of sandwiches from 10am-2pm if you would prefer something savoury here. Loving the ambience and minimalistic interior of this cafe too! 💕

😋 Comprising of gunpowder jam and popping candy, the firecracker chicken is both spicy and sizzling at the same time, with a fiery factor that might lead to tongue numbing sensations for the fainted hearted!🔥Somehow it reminded me of my favourite Yangnyeom korean fried chicken - a sweet, spicy sauce though this version here comes with with an extra sizzling effect from the popping candy - truly living up to its name of ‘firecracker’! 💥💥 These bite sized popcorn chicken is also best paired with a pint of cold craft beer 🍻, a hot and cold for the best of both worlds? 😉 But nope, the pint of craft beer just helps to drown away the guilt and sin of indulgence, making each and every piece of it an addiction to the palate! 🤭 On the other hand, the “Huat” comprises of deep fried otah wanton sprinkled with pork floss and crisp love letter shards. Would be great if there was more fillings within the crisp deep fried wanton skin, though I still fancy the spicy and flavourful otah fillings within. Perhaps the pork floss and love letter might just be a calefare and supplement here to add on to the CNY festive spirit as these otah wanton were great in silo or with some dipping sauce instead! .
[PS: The CNY festive special Tapas are only available till 28 February. Last 2 days to try them, and remember to try out the craft beers here too! 🍺] .

Sweet, sour or salty? Now you can have this 3-in-1 combination with the 2 flavours currently available, apart from the signature seasalt. Personally prefer the lemon squash which comes with a tangy citrusy note, a complement instead of competition to the subtle lingering saltiness of the the seasalt flavour. Somehow the sourness here was more intense as compared to the previous lime flavour, which I am sorry(but not) to take back my words- this was more like a solero instead of the lime flavour! 💖 Creme brûlée would be great for those with a sweet tooth (which I did enjoy 🤓), coming with a pleasant tinge of luscious, caramelised sweetness that blends in harmoniously with a mellow, lingering salty undertone from the seasalt flavour .
.
[PS: Lemon squash & Creme brûlée would be available till 30th February. Would you be looking forward to a new or comeback flavour then?😉] .
