Ohayo Mama San 3.5⭐ Walked passed Ohayo Mama San several times and didnt know that they served high tea until I read it on Burpple. There are only 6 items served though and a choice of tea to be share among 2 pax. We chose milk oolong tea and also requested to change the wagyu slider to avocado slider. Afternoon Tea Set ($26++) The original price was $15/pax so the burpple beyond deal was not worth it. We changed the wagyu slider to avo slider. The slider had a truffle smell, pretty good. The strawberry mochi has ice cream inside so eat asap. The choco tart was crispy and had a nice caramelised smell. Best was the crabstick tacos.

High tea set Tried the high tea set and it was good!! I went there after my brunch and the portion was just nice for me. If I would to choose the Kani tacos will be the highlight for the set.

Aus Marble beef 34+ PSA marble beef and rack of Lamb not available for Burpple beyond IT really is very tender. They dk the Source but i think it's probably meltique beef. There's the teeniest bit of chew, and a butter aroma. Not that much beefiness Pretty decent, but it's annoying that they didnt write you cant Use Burpple beyond on this. Overall the place is pretty average, having had good steak before I definitely wouldnt travel here for any of their items again, esp not with Burpple beyond exclusion of the steak Take note the good reviews are most likely from before the change of hands, after covid

white cold brew good bottle of coffee, used the 1 for 1 burpple deal. price for one bottle is about $9.27 including gst - wouldn't purchase again if there's no deal on it since it can get a little pricey :-(

lovely desserts <3 Sooo good! They go down easily but doesnt mean they just disappear. Flavour is light but blends very well with each other

Tea cakes one for one Wanted a simple dessert so we got the tea cakes one for one deal Tried the rose lychee tea cake and the blueberry tea cake. Pretty good deal as the teacakes were soft and full of flavour. & not too sweet.

Really appreciate the good service and consistent serving size according to their usual (the portions are sizeable! 👍), nicely sautéed mushroom, fatty artisanal chorizo sausage and fav tater tots 💖

Overall good experience. Value for money, not bad but sausage and bacon were a little salty. $33 for 2 breakfast sets + 2 coffees.

Gashouse Eggs | $13 Finally had the chance to hit up One Man Coffee after being greeted by long snaking queues during their brunch time. Got lucky and managed to snag a seat for breakfast. Opted for the gashouse eggs as I was not feeling hungry enough for the bigger plates. Absolutely loved how they made it, cheesy on the top yet oozy sunny side up egg in the middle. I’m personally not a fan of sourdough bread that’s too tough, but this crusty rendition had a great chewy texture to it. Rate:🌟🌟🌟

Grilled belly and tomyam chicken Very nice and tasty. The secret is the thoroughly mix everything up before eating. Milk tea in a nice little bottle. Excellent service. Thanks!

Burpple 1 for 1 Ricebowl (Tomyam chicken & Ratchada pork) Place was nice and the price i paid was worth it. Ordered 2 ricebowls and a matcha thai milk tea. Mill tea was thick and creamy and served in an individual bottle. However, the ricebowl’s meat was a little salty to my liking. But overall, still a very good experience! Would recommend it!

Garlic Belly & Ratchada Belly rice 3.5⭐️/5 Garlic Belly Rice (Applicable for burpple 1-for-1) [$8.80] Strong taste of garlic on the pork belly which is quite fragrant. The belly was cook just right. This comforting bowl of rice is served with edamame, sweet corn and a well seasoned hanjuku egg. 3.5⭐️/5 Ratchada Belly Rice (Applicable for burpple 1-for-1) [$8.80] Ratchada belly tasted like bbq mookata with thai soysauce. Go for the Ratchada if you are not a fan of garlic. 4⭐️/5 Oyster sauce Kailan (Not applicable for burpple 1-for-1) [$6.80] Even at the thickest part of the stem, the kailan is very soft. The oyster sauce is not overpowering which will not cover the sweetness of the veggie.

New menu! Had this a while back but remembered it to be a pretty decent meal! Here is what we tried: Octopus Chorizo ($18); The best item of the night! Born out of a happy accident, the Octopus Chorizo was a product of a double-dare between their Chefs to reinvent the classic Bangers & Mash with octopus. The masterpiece — tantalising golden gravy cascading down a pillowy mash mountain, laden with octopus & chorizo. Fish Taco ($14); Beer-battered dory with Tortilla, Chipotle Coleslaw, Mayo and Salsa. Porter House Steak ($49); Seasoned with a simple herb rub to accentuate the meaty flavours, then carefully cut into ideal sharing slices. It took over 35 rounds of experimentation to perfect this tricky cut, from its seared brown crust while retaining a tender and juicy bite. Mentai Pasta ($21); Smoked salmon with mentai cream sauce, masago, nori and linguine. This could be more flavourful though. We also had interesting beers in the form of Lychee Sapporo Draft ($11) and Yuan Yang Sapporo Draft ($11).

Nice place to visit Stylish interior, feels nice to be in. Ordered the butterfly chicken and 2 other sharing foods. The chicken was nicely prepared, juicy, flavourful and smells good. Would go for the chicken again.

Fish Tacos & Mentai Salmon Pasta Ordered their Salmon Mentai and Fish Taco and they are seriously Superb! Love how the mentaiko integrates so well into the pasta sauce and the fish tacos is so soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Highly recommend!

Ginger Lemonade / Iced Lemon Tea The ginger lemonade is made using actual fresh ginger juice. I like how the zing of fresh ginger plays off that sweet-tart base 》$6 Each

Miso Pork Belly Bowl The miso pork belly bowl comes with homemade pickled cabbage, yakiniku sauce, onsen egg, sesame seed, spring onion and chunky slices of pork belly laid on top. The pork belly was thick and slightly charred to a nice burnt flavour. It was tender and juicy but I couldn’t taste the miso. Dipping it with the yakinuku sauce helps with the flavouring 》$17.90

Chilli Crab Pasta Spaghetti cooked with homemade chilli crab sauce and curry leaves, presented with a crunchy soft shell crab on top. The pasta was al-dente with a chewy bite. The sauce was done with the right amount of sweetness and a tinge of spiciness 》$18.90

Mono izakaya Lil's taproom popup 26-27 April 2024 Espresso ribs 24+svc for 180g Tender, with a proper espresso glaze. It's slightly bitter, quite sweet, and full of wicked espresso aroma.

Bulgogi duck rice 22++ PSA it really is exactly where they say it is. On top of Prata restaurant is a corner shop, and this is directly beside it. The exterior is like any other shop so look carefully. Unit number 02-208? I think Absolutely delicious as well. Not very bulgogi tbh but doesn't rlly matter. It's got a slightly crisp, skin that was a bit hard as well, but not unpleasantly. The meat was tender and thickly sliced, and most importantly it's super flavourful from aging. Absolutely awe-inspiring stuff and a must try

Big slab bossam don 18++(used BB) PSA During lunch there's only lunch bowls, no ala cart This was delicious. Kimchi was solid, but the pork belly. Wow. It's tender with just a little bite, super fatty but not greasy. Chef chose to slow roast it so it's not just super soft, and the espresso miso glaze, despite the fancy name, made for a simple and effective sweet savoury glaze. Chef has been trained in both Jap and French cuisine, as well as stints at Michelin establishments. A lot of young chefs come out from Michelin places to set up their own restaurants lately but I feel like many don't live up to the hype. But this chef, from his food it's clear he knows what he's doing. Really excited for this place, except the location is too hidden lol

High Tea Buffet You can choose from 2 slots: 12-2pm or 2.30-4.30pm. We went in at 12pm sharp and got to enjoy their self-serve sushi, seafood, cheese, grapes and crackers. The actual high tea dishes didnt come until 12.25, and they were served one by one. The beef sliders were a little dry and average tasting, my friend didnt like them as he thought they were too salty but I found them alright. The Smoked Chicken and Cheese Focaccias were almost entirely bread with minimal fillings, the the focaccia itself was dry. Mediterranean Chicken Wrap was eh too. A lot of veggies. The Tiger Prawns were surprisingly my favourite, given that I’m not a fan of seafood. This was the only time that I actually willingly ate prawns and even ordered more as they were so juicy and big with a delicious sauce. The Chicken Cheese Balls were a little spicy and tasted like nacho cheese, also really average. On to the sweets, the cakes were alright and the macarons were not bad too. My fav was the chocolate macaron, which was so rich. My friend ate 14 macarons in one sitting so I will never doubt him when he calls himself a macaron connesewer. The biggest disappointment was the Almond Croissant and Chocolate Croissant, which were dry and doughy. They were not well laminated and tasted really stale. They honestly taste like those packaged pastries you’d get from 7-eleven, but even those taste better. Overall I didn’t find this to be worth the price. Since the main dishes only come 30 mins after the start time of the buffet, you get less time to try them out and see which ones you like. The tiger prawns were the only dish that I thought were great, everything else was average or not that good. Wouldn’t return unfortunately, do drop your recommendations for good and affordable high teas!

Royal Palm Village Hote Bugis Price is justifiable only with the 1-1 deal, but it has a chill ambiance. Good for a girl’s day out! the wagyu beef burger and prawns (in the seafood platter) were the best!
