The beef had a beef taste and the sauce wasn't that tasty. Ma Maison's version is much better.
My friend's soba and rice set was quite nice though
Second try of Shake Shack.. first try I wasn't impressed as the beef patty was dry. But the Shroom Burger was delicious! Crispy, juicy, and came with melted cheese - really yummy.
We like the hotdog because it's simplicity allows us to really appreciate the fluffy potato bread.
Fries went well with the cheese but on their own not the best - think they were overfried so was abit hard.
Overall i love it's wonderfully complex flavours and texture.The bread was french toast style, which added a sweet and moist dimension to the dish.. the toast was crispy but soft and not soggy! The guamacole added spicy and savoury notes to the dish. The poached eggs were abit overcooked but I could overlook that since the taste was really good. I asked for hollandaise sauce on the side as i didn't want it to overpower the dish.
Pastry was crispy and the flowing cream was so yummy, even when i usually dislike cream. Good for two to share as it was huge and filled with cream.
Can't stop thinking about it, just wondering when i can eat it again!
Coffee with hokkaido milk was smooth with a good coffee flavour. Love this cafe and I get the hype over it❤
Tasted like hot yuzu tea which one can easily make. Prefer their lychee and ginger tea.
Accompanying pandan cookies were delicious tho!
Find the food here pricey but average. My friend who had the mac & cheese wasn't impressed too. Only worth coming for the coffee.
Scrambled eggs were v creamy but mine were cold. Added avocado and it was nice. Sourdough toast was good too. Place had warm cosy vibes.
Not the place to hang out for long though. After 90 mins they asked us if we had a second order, or if not we had to make space for people on the waiting list... we didn't feel comfortable staying longer so just travelled to another place for drinks where we wouldn't be chased away :p

This was my favourite compared to guo tie and xiao long bao. If was more sour than spicy (even my friend who doesnt take spicy food well could take it)
