Little quaint cafe at Naiise with burp 1 for 1! A quiet place amid the crowds at jewel

Delicious maki rolls and other interesting dishes. I always enjoy having a good meal at itacho!

While the red tea had a sufficiently strong aroma, the pearls were on the harder side and we couldn’t finish it.

The al dente noodles were infused with a good amount of truffle flavour, while the sous vide egg on top gave the dish a rounder and creamier feel.

Do pick the brown sugar sauce if you’re going for the matcha flavour, and matcha sauce if you’re going for the milk flavour! Ice cream melts kinda fast so be prepared and don’t eat the leaves on the cone first - it’s there to catch the ice cream soup!

Hakka noodles were bursting with lard flavour, and the century egg added a nice creamy texture and funky taste. Kind of reminded me of ah eng’s wonton mee, I really liked this dish!

A very aesthetically pleasing Peranakan high tea set. I especially liked the warm food items, such as the pork ngoh hiang and curry mantou bun. The scones were also really good and buttery, and came with jam and creamy kaya. For those with a separate stomach for dessert, they also have popcorn, red bean, and black sesame gelato!

Spicy szechuan fish was really worth it with 50% off eatigo! Not overwhelmingly hot and the sauce just made me wanna eat more rice. Service was also great.

Refreshing grapefruit juice with tea! Personally, I like my sugar level to be 0%, and this was quite a good choice because the grapefruit pulp was slightly sweetened. Perfect for any blazing hot day!

True to it’s name, arteastiq serves up beautifully plated dishes that are a feast for the eyes. I really liked how the duck confit came with a side of brown rice, perfect for a 饭桶like me. The duck was also fall of the bone tender and the meat melted as soon as it entered my mouth. The vibes on the last floor of jewel, where the cafe is situated, is also really nice but can get hot if it’s sunny during lunchtime.

A healthy and refreshing way to end a meal. I really love how there was passion fruit added, which is not common in most açai bowls.

Overall, I prefer the XFT in Taiwan as compared to their franchise in Singapore. The rose dalgona lacked in taste and came with a sad thin layer of dalgona, but the staff were pretty accommodating when I requested for additional dalgona to be added. The flavour of the Meiji milk was also quite overpowering, in comparison to other milk brands such as farmhouse.
