Western & Burgers

Beef was tender, and mash potatoes were creamy. We also had their Tom yum pasta (which I forgot to take a photo of but really good) and a beef burger (which was also good). I usually go for outdoor seating when I visit as it has a nice view of the calming Punggol lake. One of my favourite hangout spots to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

True to it’s name, arteastiq serves up beautifully plated dishes that are a feast for the eyes. I really liked how the duck confit came with a side of brown rice, perfect for a 饭桶like me. The duck was also fall of the bone tender and the meat melted as soon as it entered my mouth. The vibes on the last floor of jewel, where the cafe is situated, is also really nice but can get hot if it’s sunny during lunchtime.

Not too sweet and refreshing, just the way I like it! Will come back to try their other milk teas.

Grilled curry prawn risotto was spicy and they were really generous with the ingredients.

Located in a historical building, the mason’s table serves up delectable european cuisine in a classy setting. Our beef was deliciously melt in your mouth tender, and the mash potato was creamy. A very good hidden find and perfect for a date night!

Seems like they have upgraded their pizzas. However, the food tends to be a little pricy when compared to other options like dominos.

Had been wanting to try yardbird ever since it was on food king and finally got to have it! Definitely wasn’t a let down, and the star was definitely the BOURBON MAPLE. I low key was about to steal the whole bottle back home so that I can slather it all over my waffles. Spiced watermelon had a slight spice after taste, which was pleasant. Overall, a really pleasant dining experience and this dish is good for 2 to share.

Today, I finally found out why. This unassuming hawker stall serves up restaurant class food, and their pork chop was sweet having been marinated in a cider, with an extremity soft bite. Potatoes were sweet and addictive. Definitely worth the queue!

The sauce is creamy and light at the same time. To up the salmon cream pasta game, i like add a sousvide egg and side of bacon spinach. Simple, yummy, and kind on the pocket!

Great when you’re a few days away from your pay day and broke. The curry chicken baked rice was creamy and spicy; it continued to stay warm as it was served on a hot iron plate. Satisfying and shiok!

Really loved this burger. Brioche bun was soft and fluffy. Slaw added a crisp and tangy bite to the soft and tender pulled pork. Well done!

the restaurant is only a shadow of its past glorious self nowadays. First of all - food was overpriced ($45?!++ wtf) for the standard of steaks they were serving. Next - service was subpar. The guy serving our food didn’t even notice that our steaks had sides missing and he couldn’t get the point when we tried to tell him countless of times. He finally got the point and put my coleslaw on my plate and added that they were out of mash potatoes - but this was NO excuse to serve a customer a plate so obviously missing a side dish right?! Shouldn’t he have asked us what sides we would like instead of mash potatoes rather than serving a plate with missing dishes?! Lastly - our desserts took a whopping 30 mins to arrive, and were also of subpar quality with a pathetic blob of vanilla ice cream on top of a probably microwaved cookie dough. Brownie was overly sweet and just overpriced.
