For mains, we wanted to order the Black Angus steak but unfortunately we were told they ran out for the day so we had the grain fed striploin steak. We also ordered the oregano and smoked garlic lamb. Nothing to shout about here, both were alright. The steak doesnβt come with any sides, only a sauce of your choice together with mustard, grounded pepper, and butter.
I would advise calling ahead if you would like to try their Black Angus pasture fed steak!
Ordered the baked escargot (RM23), baby spinach salad (RM26) and prawn bisque (RM28) to start with and I would think of heading back just for the baked escargots which was served with melted gooey cheese and toast! The salad was a good portion as well with a generous load of baby spinach. The prawn bisque, however, was lacking in flavour and just tasted creamy.
I'm impressed with the variety they have here. Apart from being able to curate your own salad bowl/wrap, their smoothie bowls are just as good too.
This time I tried their version of a vegetarian nasi lemak bowl (RM20.90 with tax etc). This turned out turned out to be so filling and delicious! Brown rice was used together with generous portions of pumpkin, mushrooms, cauliflower, a whole egg, tofu (I think), cashew nuts, cucumber, chips and alfalfa on top of it all. No sambal was used, instead, a curry-like sauce (not spicy) binded the dish as a whole.
I loved that cashew nuts was used and one thing that stood out was the cauliflower, which had a smoky taste to it which was unique! All in all, thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The prices may seem off putting at first but you get what you pay for (if not more).
Tip: use Favepay to get discounts in the future!

Affordable no frills restaurant with a great variety to choose from. Had the lunch set (RM15); Chicken Schnitzel served with potatoes and salad as a side, soup of the day and ice lemon tea/hot tea!
Absolutely worth it. The chicken schnitzel tasted great after a squeeze of lemon with a crispy exterior and juicy & succulent inside.
Plus points? The array of desserts at prices like RM6-7 π they produce their own baked goods and they taste just as amazing as those you get in secret recipe etc..

Been here many times and I'd go back for a good salad! I like the combination of sauces you get to choose from and the variety of greens as well. Apart from a salad bowl, options like rice bowl or even a wrap is available!
I normally have their chicken salad which costs RM14 and you get to choose 3 other veggies (seaweed, edamame, cherry tomatoes etc) and then other sides too (almonds, spring onions, ebiko etc)!
Also, I love their Onsen egg and I always have it as an add-on (RM3)!

You know the food is good when the only picture Ive got is of the starters because I was too busy eating from then on π
Serving authentic Northern Indian food, FLOUR will leave you spoiled for choices!
For starters, the papadoms were great with it being light and crispy! For mains, their curries all come with a choice of either a bowl of rice or a type of bread i.e. roti (all made in house). The portions are good and the prices are reasonable for the quality you get (Avrg of RM25). The mutton curries stood out the most among others to me. However, their briyani tasted average to me.
Also, they barbecue the meat right in front of you so I guess that's a bonus. The marinade was just amazing.
For drinks, I would definitely recommend having a pot of Masala Chai! One of the best that I've had.
Located outside of One Sentral food court in Brickfields is this popular stall selling all sorts of deep fried goodies.
Tried the pisang goreng and couldn't resist getting one more! The first thing I noticed was that the outer layer was thinner than most but still as crunchy and delicious, this made it better to taste the bananas which is a lot bigger and sweeter too.
Loved it!
Tucked in a stretch of korean shops is this hole in the wall korean restaurant with an extensive menu. The service was quick although one of the waitress could not speak English but she was trying her best so have patience! π As long as you order a main, you're given the requisite side dishes, "Banchan". Here, they provide eggplant, radish, crabstick with cucumber and kimchi.
We ordered a Hot Stone Pot Bibimbap (RM20) and a Buldak Cheese (pictured) which came with a bowl of rice (RM26).
The Buldak Cheese was delicious, with the mix of cheeses and the spicy chicken! There was also sliced rice cake (tteokgukyong-tteok) in it and it was so good with the sauce from the chicken! The bibimbap was really filling because of the amount of rice, but it paled in comparison to other dishes available.
Would definitely be back!
The menu here is so extensive and flexible there is definitely something for everyone! Although the space isn't as aesthetically pleasing as a lot of other cafes, it is practical and once you're seated you'd probably won't want to leave with its speedy wifi and plugs all over.
I had a flat white (RM10), the tiny breakfast and an a la carte Pandan Chicken (RM8). The flat white was smooth but what really got my attention was the 'tiny breakfast' which in my opinion wasn't tiny but filling! The best part of the dish was the scrambled eggs which was just how I liked it, runny with a hint of cheese in it.
Also, the grilled succulent chicken was a value buy. It was seasoned well and had a hint of smokey flavour to it. Splash it with lime juice and the flavours come alive in your mouth.
Best part about this place? It's open 24/7. Serving food and drinks 24/7. Wifi 24/7.
A wide variety of dishes to choose from the menu in Go Noodle. The bursting meatball is always my choice along with a bowl of silky thin noodles (RM10.40)! The chilli pairs nicely with the hearty bowl of noodles. Always a good choice! Service is moderately paced.
Soft and minimalistic interior which was so comfortable and I could easily spend one whole day here! Perfect for getting work done in my opinion. The people were friendly and helpful too.
Although prices here are abit higher than most, but the quality was obvious and it made the tiny price difference worth it. These guys know their coffee. I ordered a hot matcha latte (Rm12) and Fish n Chips (RM20). The matcha might have been a tad bit too strong for my liking (it's only my 2nd time trying a cup of matcha latte) but I thought the viscosity of it as a whole was perfect!
The fish n chips was a pleasant surprise as 2 Dory fishes were stacked on top of each other and it was served with sides of huge waffle cut fries and peas with a dressing I couldn't identify. The peas tasted so good with a splash of citrus and I think a hint of garlic and onion. The garlic aioli sauce served with the dish was light and went well with everything on the plate.
Would definitely be back!
