Yep. 'Cause the delicately fried chicken on the big burger was that delicate 😱😍 It's indescribable because usually fried chicken thigh is too greasy and juicy to me (pure blasphemy, i know😂). But here, it was PERFECT. As for my miso pork ribs,I wasn't really used to the sweet tase so I guess it's all a matter of preferences. Andddd the amazing decorations were enough to keep us in awe the whole meal. I think our mouths were open all the way lolol!
Or drunk on queuing? We went to look see Western Co. but the queue was tai over le (poor bosses lei I mean...). So Hungry Heroes and Old Hen, to check things off 😁 The place is not big, but much cozier than expected because everyone seems to be enjoying their light conversations, even the bosses 😁 The special decos (fan blades and covers on lightbulbs, i wanna try diy too!) really added a lovely touch to the place. There's heart 😉😉😉 And needless to say, the coffee was special too, when they take the extra effort to rec you the better batch of coffee 😊 Nano Challa is the name.
Is this an illusion? It must be the most vintage-y and put-together place I have been to. Every corner was tastefully decorated, and the single origin coffee introduced by the kind waitress was served on a graceful monochrome platter. I felt really pampered but kinda shy too as I was the only patron haha. I mean... it's tucked all the way at the back of an industrial estate, facing the 'wrong side' 😂 The place seems really new (actually the waitress said they opened just last week) and the mood was great. Thank you for the experience. When will anyone else stumble on this... cause they don't have any active media pages 😳
Ordered both the premium Hokkaido pork don and USA pork don.... USA one wasn't so good because... The Hokkaido pork is just too good! So tender you just need to lightly chew and savour. Omgg. Price is high though so kinda heart pain I can't eat it many many times T_T
They really do have the best views! Full length windows looking out on the reservoir, it's as though you are sitting right beside the reservoir but sipping your craft beer in the chilly hideout. The Bulgogi tacos was very well seasoned 😊 Buttttt if only there was less fats on the meat and a sauce for the nachos, that will be perfect xD

Just launched two days ago on National Day so I chose this over the rest. Salted Egg Mac & Cheese topped with torched Mentaiko Norwegian Crawfish. Whew its name is so long. The combination of salted egg yolk and truckloads of cheese was just nice! It has the feel of crushed egg yolk (meaning it was really made with salted egg yolk and not powder) so it was really savory and I don't get sick of it at all. In fact I wished I had more of it even at the end 😭 So this really does the salted egg yolk justice 😍 As for the crawfish, I guess I still prefer a big crayfish over its tiny versions 😂 Imagine they had to peel all the shells to get all these... it's hard, scary work.
An empty shop serving okonomiyaki and monjayaki. Cooking it right in front of you, the jap chef seems tense 'cause boss is looking on 😂 Dude, it's okay xD Anyway, I liked the okonomiyaki a lot, even the veg in it! Can't get tired of it because every mouth is a new taste 😂 Thanks for the great friendly service, even giving us a tour of their peaceful rooftop dining area with a great view of the surrounding shophouses, night sky and mood lights.
Tried this for the first time cause the friend chose this over rolled ice cream. We got chai tea gelato and mangosteen sorbet (salty peanut flavor was erm, too peanuty. don't shoot!). The chai tea flavor really is gao gao, more gao then an actual chai latte lol! The owner was very friendly when serving us our gelato, and he said 'Lucky you caught us 'cause this is our last week here...' Man I guess this is fate...
the food is 👍👍👍 crab and prawn risotto was laced with many crab meat strands and even one big chunk of crab meat, and everything is still so moist. really like the way they cook, the taste is so satisfying and difficult to find in normal restaurants 😍 and this is located outside Big Box of all places. #totallyhiddenalmostcouldntfindladey
