Came to try their blue pea sea salt flavour and puff cone but they are out of it :( so we had the spicy pineapple etc instead. 'cause it's their last day soon I guess. Shops are closing down/moving out left and right; faster than I can find time to visit. Is it the end of lease season? Really hope they find a new place instead of closing their doors permanently :(

To bring this huge ass bucket of sugarcane home. It's meant for dabao right? Hahaha. Just kidding. Pls don't. To me, this store's sugarcane is sweet, not diluted, and feels... smooth? Haha. Almost exactly like the one I had in Ben Tre, Vietnam. Sudden wave of nostalgia.

I have no idea how exactly Hainanese this is, but it is so nice! Unnoticed amongst all the sugar cane towers and sambal stingray, but it will make the perfect end to your boisterous dinner at chomp chomp :D I have never tried it before this too, but I was looking around for something new, and it was really worth the try! Topped with salted veg, peanuts and seaweed, the combined taste.... 😍😍😍😍 It's just really special.

Peaceful, quiet place in a red-bricked house... and beautifully cooked food with perfect taste. Really enjoyed the grilled veal steak with its mushroom sauce that's bursting w flavours and ravioli with pumpkin sauce. This place is so empty, I wish more knew about this place....

Passing by and was kinda stunned by this place just across the Kopitiam I always used to eat at, haha. 'Was it always here?!' LOL. The place is very spacious with sunlight falling in through the large windows :) Service is sincere and friendly too. I ordered the beef ragu ravioli with black truffle sauce; the sauce is kind of an acquired taste, but I really appreciate the thought the Chef puts into the dish.

Cause they are moving to The Central Mall :( (not The Central). Love this hidden place... The food is authentic and visited mostly by Japanese, yet affordable. Goodbye to this cozy, peaceful hideout and hopefully the next place is as perfect. We ordered the pan-fried calamari with squid ink (made into cheese risotto at the end, FOC), mentaiko pasta, takoyaki and chirimen sanpei rice; all highly recommended by me πŸ˜†

Had the pumpkin spice latte and I love it :) Can't seem to find many places with this and it really puts a twist on it compared to the usual flavours :) The drinks menu is quite extensive which surprised me, haha! Didn't know where to start, which item I wanted the most.

The earl grey roll cake was tender and creamy with a good heavy dose of bergamot; service was awkwardly sincere and funny the way they tried so hard to balance the latte; and the decoration has a well-thought country homely feel which was unexpected. Now if only everything isn't so quiet, the place would be more cosy and relaxing :)

But each and every time I would get too excited over it and forgot about getting a good photoπŸ˜‚ The baked chicken chop is the best chicken chop I have tasted! I have only seen baked style here and it is done soooo well! Chef is πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ You won't regret coming here. Intro-ed my colleagues but they seem unwilling to come cause the place is 'ulu' πŸ˜”.

Not very convenient, and that's the charm. Friendly waitresses and a wide variety with several signatures not common in other zi char places, this is a lovely find. It really doesn't feel like Singapore. Anddddd it's located just 5 min away from my place πŸ˜‚.

Always wanted to try this place. Service is impeccable, and it feels like another country with the open kitchen. I ordered the ravioli with marsala wine sauce and it was pretty sweet, which scared me off haha. Other mains are really worth a try though!

Even with so many food choices that you can't find anywhere else, and unique old-style decoration, the crowd seems so little. Cause it's too ulu? Come support lei😁 We tried Duck Confit with Orange Saffron sauce from Hoggies (which some people don't seem to notice) and Mee Goreng Spaghetti (yes.) from Chop Chop. Both seem weird at first, but tasted good after that first mouth.
