Centre-Cut Filet Mignon from Morton's The Steakhouse, Mandarin Oriental Singapore (@mo_singapore). The roasty, intimately juicy steak surrenders to the bluntest blades with ease, blushing a brilliant pink as you reveal its most private bits. 4/5

Essentially your mango sago experience but with added playful texturality from the chewy mini rice balls and the squirt-happy mango pops. 3.8/5
Show-stoppingly marvellous and primally fulfilling. 4.1/5

Based on a peek at their various set menus, their four-pax course meals are (surprisingly) wonderfully value-for-money especially given the quality involved, and I am already plotting a return with friends.
Like Thai minced meat with basil leaf, only with punchier savouriness, a Chinese and Nigella Lawson-esque carefree sprinkling of salt as well as a hearty, back teeth-crunch of preserved vegetables. 4/5
Courtesy of roast maestros Roast Paradise, the char siew is one of my favourites in Singapore, with much credit due to the deep-red, charred caramelised bits which I know I shouldn't love but which touch me in a deep, deep place. 4.2/5
The intensity of lobster bisque-esque flavour is tautly consolidated in manner of vitamins in a Centrum pill. 4.1/5

Much like me after having writhed about in a bathtub filled with leatherwood honey, the stickily sweet char siew hid a teeth-shreddingly tender core beneath the layers of indulgently pillowy fat. 3.9/5
