Fresh-thick cuts of salmon, tuna, swordfish and octopus from @hokkaidosushi_sg all-you-can-eat ala-carte buffet going at $44++.

Quality Japanese food at decent pricing. My only qualm was the sashimi which came last, only after all the appetizers, sides, mains and cooked food which was served. 🤔

.
Kong bak bao with a mod-fusion twist, with pulled pork, pickled radish and gochujang dressing.
.
Overall tasty with a tangy kick, but felt a resemblance to Vietnamese Banh Mi but with Korean sauce.

Breaded and deep-fried till golden crisp, these light and crunchy nibbles are best eaten with their house-made cold bell pepper sauce for a mild spicy kick.

.
Their Fennel Sausage Pasta impressed with chicken jus sauce which was packed full with flavor.
.
Not forgetting their daily made fresh pasta that was cooked al dente, tossed with crunchy broccoli and cherry tomato for a mild tangy kick.

.
The petite cheese crossiant was crusty and flavorful with butter fragrance.
.
But everything else turned out to be pretty much conventional.

Also satisfy your taste buds by customizing the perfect bowl of ramen with onsen egg, chopped spring onions and pork charshu.
.
Not for the faint-hearted.

.
I also liked their rendition of tomato and spicy mala broth. Less oily and less spicy than our usual Chinese hot pot and drinkable as a broth on its own.
