This Kaisendon rice bowl with various cuts of shashimi was one of the delicious items we got to try. Thanks @myrontay for the invitation and @teppeidaidokoro for feeding us. =) Will definitely be back to grab more food during work days. One of the benefits of working right next to Timbre+. #TeppeiDaidokoro #TimbrePlus #OneNorth

Weekend special Root beer batter fish and chips. The fish was melt-in-your-mouth moist blanketed in the crunchy root beer batter. The taste of root beer is mild enough not to overwhelm the dish. The fries were the right texture of crunchy but otherwise pretty ordinary. $18+

Thanks to @shauneeie for the ingenious idea that got everyone creating their own too. Yummy lunch buffet here at Indulge at Park, Grand Park City Hall. Great foodie meetup as well ๐Ÿ˜Š

O'ma Spoon new store opening at 313 Somerset, with a 1-for-1 Petit Bingsu special till end-May 2015. Love the light and fluffy, creamy texture.

Because when it's the exams period, what's more important than brain food? Slice it yourself but it's only $12.50 for this whole plate!

Extremely pleased with the choices that I made today, with the Kueh Salaat making the greatest โ€“ unfathomable that one of the yummiest kueh salat would come from a hip cake shop, but it truly surprised me in the best way possible.

Striking just the right balance of zesty and sweet in a fluffy, buttery cake is the Lemon Yoghurt, which the rather dashing attendant pitched to me as the perfect "light dessert" after a heavy meal. I quite agree.

For those who like a healthy dose of booze in their dessert (alkies, all of you), the moist chocolate sponge spiked with stout will have you swooning. A silky cream cheese frosting seals the deal.

Oven-baked avocado boats cradling spinach and a soft boiled egg (a dash of Bochinche's Cornish sea salt and ground black pepper will do) grilled tomatoes, roasted butternut squash, Norwegian smoked salmon, colby jack and a side baby spinach salad tossed in sherry vinaigrette and olive oil, peppered with dried cranberries and apples. Healthy and comforting! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿด

Came back to try the other flavours! Their soft serves in cups comes with default toppings, thus can't be customised with preferred toppings. Salted Gula Melaka came with a Sesame cracker atop, which was crispy, fragrant and packs a crunchy texture to the smooth soft serve, along with chewy Japanese mochi balls. Soft-serve itself was stellar; smooth and flavourful as the signature sweetness of Gula Melaka was evident through the coconut flavour, yet the saltiness was neutral so it does not become cloying. Will be back some day for this again!

Had a Liu Sha Bao too many and starting to get bored about it? The Liu Sha Tang Yuan is probably the next revolution of this well loved dimsum dish in Hong Kong dessert form. A small bite and the tang yuan explodes only to reveal that sweet-salty salted egg yolk filling, which is simply divine. The only qualm was that there ain't enough filling, but again there is just never enough when it comes to liu sha. Comes with a choice of Osmanthus or Ginger soup and in fours.
