Hand cut fries topped with a fried egg, aioli and truffle. You really can’t just stop at one but if you’re looking for crispy fries, this is slightly soggier due to the sauce.

Price: $25 (very expensive fries)

Fried food paradise 🌈
Supper kinda food especially when this stall opens only at night and all the way till the morning. Comfort food but yes, it is indeed a little too far...

Price: $4.20

I am not a fan of fishball noodles typically. But this bowl of kway teow (you get to choose other types of noodles as well) + ćŠ æ–™ (extra ingredients) is the bomb. The fish balls are fresh and springy. While the prawns are even fresher! The kway teow is a balance of soft and not too soggy. Remember to order a mix of chilli and tomato sauce to enjoy a yummy fusion of spicy and sweet taste.

Price: $5 for extra ingredients

Queue was insane! Maximum of 50-80 pcs given out every one hour or so. Didn’t know sweet potato could taste so yummy! It was so soft and there is a honey like sugary touch that comes along with it. $2 per pc and one person is only allowed to purchase one.

Homemade!!! The tim tams were amazing but the milk ice cream with idk what was that mix of nuts, choco balls n cereals were VERY amazing. Can’t stop won’t stop.

Price: $16

Was pretty excited to visit this pop up store. Had high expectations! Unfortunately best dish was this and the mao shan wang creme brûlée.

The slices of this pork Jowl was pretty thin as well. Wish it was thicker!

We ordered the crab rilettes, the garang rice, the red platter (lamb and beef was pretty tough) and a barrumundi.

Total damage: $360 (and we were not full) New Ubin’s much better in my opinion!

We asked the staff about this dish “Kale” and he put it in layman language and said it’s basically a kale tart / pizza. Butter and cheese is melted on the kale and there were nuts in between. The tart was pretty crispy and solid. A unique taste fo’ sure but the butter & cheese combo was really tasty.

A variety of dim sums, had their set lunch. Affordable and delectable. Wish the portions were bigger though.

Price: $35 onwards for the executive set lunch

“Black” version- meat was soft and I liked that we can mix anything we want in the clay pot. Youtiao was dry though, worth a miss. Still on a search for a better one besides Hong Ji.

Price: $8 onwards

Ain’t supreme at all. Bread was tough and dry. Meat was a thin slab of beef. Fries was alright.

Price: $11.90

Really underwhelming, shabu shabu pork was dry and had zero flavour. Curry felt like it was the kind you can buy from the supermarket. Yet there was a queue... people are patronizing just cos it’s #instagrammable. Not a fan of #instagramfood

Price: $15-$20 (add a dollar for the lava egg)

Second time back to Clinton! Their pancakes never fail ($22 bucks). Although I wish they can play around with various renditions of their pancakes. Bring pancake month back more often please!
