Was honestly SO impressed by how thick the chunks of salmon sashimi were and it was rather fresh!! Might be a bit small for big eaters so opt for the larger size - it’s rlllllyyyyy worth it with beyond

50% off selected speciality rolls all day on Wednesdays so had to give it a try!!! My favorite will definitely have to be all salmon all the time cos it has salmon sashimi AND seared salmon! Honestly I wouldn’t be willing to fork out $16++ for a roll bc it isn’t the most filling (as compared to Rollie Ollie imo) so Wednesday’s it shall be!!

Pleasantly surprised at the acai here!!! For a place that doesn’t specialize in acai the consistency and taste of the acai was rlly good. The coconut chia seed pudding was also suuuper yumz and quite thick so it fills you up quickly!!

Truly a hole in the wall place but the best kind - the staff working there were so friendly and the whole shop was cozy and inviting (despite it being very small!). Honestly not rlly the best at discerning if the coffee is good but it was unique and not too sweet so worth a trip down!!

Thankfully lives up to its name - a refreshing treat in the recent ~heatwave~ and was honestly bigger than expected so it was worth it (especially w burpple beyond!) The tartness of the smoothie was contrasted with the sweetness of the granola and fruits so it was gr8......BUT the consistency was a bit watery so it could’ve been a bit thicker!!

Everything here that we tried was so goooood - not pictured: shrimp dumplings, xiaolongbao, egg tarts, sieu mai, cheong fun w charsiew....everything was super affordable (ended up being less than $40 SGD)

So much goodness!!!! In a bowl!!! One gripe I had was that the sauce had some citrus-y flavor I wasn’t the biggest fan of but it made everything smell and taste super fresh ! But nonetheless the sashimi were all real good and legit fresh

All was good until I reached the halfway point of the dish and it got too overwhelming but I think for cheese lovers this should be no problem hahaha. Crisp top (rather salty), and the macaroni was generously slathered with melted cheese so it was A LOT OF CHEESE

SO GOOD......sometimes carbonara sauce can be overpowering and heavy but this isn’t at all!! Got the cheese waterfall ($5) that added to the creaminess of the dish so 4 people shared this and felt full (this pot was meant for 2 pax). Tteokbokki was soft enough and there wasn’t any difficulty chewing them!!! Super yummy 10/10 recommend + the delicious fried mandus ($3.50 for 2)

At first taste the linguine tasted like prawn mee (without the soup) because its flavor was so rich and almost creamy (?). Thought it was going to be very jelat but it wasn’t!! The lobster was done up really nicely too, cooked firmly and was sufficiently meaty and juicy!!

I cannot emphasize how worth this deal is with burpple beyond - for $16 you get 2 types of dumplings, 2 bowls of noodles and 2 drinks!!!! WHAT!!!! We got the miso mushroom noodles and the noodles were firm yet springy, with the sauce covering the noodles very evenly :) tried the smoked duck dumpling which were SO GOOD - pan fried and crispy on one side yet so soft on the other side, it was bursting with flavor!! the Sichuan dumplings weren’t my favorite, but it wasn’t too spicy so no fear!!! Overall it was a really great meal and would 10/10 go again to try more dumplings!!!

Feels like this is a hidden gem right at the heart of Orchard!!! For just $15/person, you get access to unlimited servings of breakfast goodies! Our favorites had to be the American breakfast, eggs in hell and the both types of salad!! And the setting of the cafe is a dream aHhhHhh
