I just love their coffee. Probably the reason why they have regular patrons although the place is pretty small.
One of my go-to place when I need to get my work done. They are famous for their waffles although Iâve never tried one before. But their coffee is consistently good and the ambiance is just nice. It can get a bit crowded on weekends though.
I always go to this place for their happy hour (20% off House Pour from 11.30 am to 7.30 pm on weekdays), but this was the first time I tried their food. The weekday set lunch menu includes starters, mains, and drinks (coffee or tea). I love the Smoked Salmon Salad! And this Diner Classic Beef Burger was not bad too. The portion was pretty big, just look at that thick patty. Too bad the handcut fries was not crispy.
Good service and ambiance. The portion is pretty big as well, but itâs not that special. Maybe I should have tried their Mac & Cheese but it was too early for me.
Passed by this place a few times and decided to come back afterwards because the place looks really cute (girls problem lol). If you come between 2-6pm on Monday-Friday, they have Happy Bao Hour where you can get 1 mini bao and 1 drink (Classic Cold Brew Coffee or Raspberry Pu-Er Cold Brew). I chose the Huat Huat Fried Chicken Bao, which is crispy fried chicken, kimchi, and gochujang mayo in a sesame bao. Itâs a bit messy to eat but itâs pretty good. The waitress told us that the bao is small and it really is, but itâs perfect for when you just want light bites.
If you come between 9-11am, you can order this breakfast set which includes toast (sourdough / focaccia / croissant), eggs (sunny side up, scrambled, onsen style), and coffee or tea. You can also choose to add on bacon, sausage, or baked beans. It wasn't bad but it wasn't special either. But the place and the service is really nice.
Saw other tables ordering burgers for lunch and they look really good.
Thanks to this cold brew for giving me the kick of caffeine in the middle of a really hot day. I didn't try any of the bakes because I couldn't see if they still have anything left, but that's a good reason to come back again, right?
I was really hungry to the point I actually finished the whole portion, but I think you could share it as well. They are pretty generous with the crab meat and salmon roe. If you like it spicy, try asking them to make it extra spicy (which I should have done).
Crisp on the outside, moist on the inside. Served warm with a side of butter, this savoury scone is topped with paprika powder. It's a bit too salty though.
Good coffee, good ambiance, friendly staffs. If only they stay open longer (but to be fair they open really early).
