At only $13, you get chunks of tuna and salmon. Opted to remove the prawn. I feel the rice is overly flavoured and too hard. Delicious though! 👍🏻🙂

Hands down to this.

The thin skin is really chewy and could hold the ingredients really well. What surprise me is the fried egg they included. Really worth the price of $1.70 and queue of 20minutes.

I’m coming back for this!

Situated right beside the popular Fa Ji Ba Chor Mee, both stalls nevertheless have their own returned customers.

I love how delicate the auntie prepared this dish - piecing kway teow and vinegary sauce together, and adding ba chor and those balls together. Lastly, adding the pork lard brings the whole dish to a whole new comfort level.

You pay for what you get.

At $8.90, i feel this dish is mediocre.

Pork belly and egg taste bland. The pork belly doesn’t melt in my mouth.

Is authentic Italian Pasta supposed to be like this?

Ordered the Italian Sausage ($12) with Tagliatelle. Basically it is like clumpy Mee Pok, containing eggs. In my opinion, the overall taste is acceptable but i find it too oily.

But hands up to the sausage! 🙌🏻 Although the sausage is very dry, i like the strong spice after taste! These sausages have helped me to conquer finish this humongous portion of ‘Mee Pok’!

Highly Recommended to those that don’t want to burn their pockets badly and want to try handmade pasta at a very laid back chill place.

Do note that there is no service charge, so you have to help yourself at the counter! 🙃

Although it is situated around HDBs, DO NOT BELITTLE THIS RESTAURANT!

The braised duck is really flavourful. The meat was not tough and could easily bite off.

The takeaway part from this restaurant is the steamboat. Flavourful milky soup. It reminds me of fish soup with milk. I will definitely recommend both dishes to those that wants to learn what is the Teo Chew taste.

Though on a pricey side, it is definitely worth the value as the quality of the food speaks it all.

Chicken is wonderfully flavoured with spices that is not too overwhelming. It is juicy too! Woot! Plus point... plus plus plus!

Moreover, they offer a variety of sides ranging from healthy vegetables to your killer carbs.

Their carbo items are aweeeesome. Mac'n Cheese is really stinkiful that you want to keep eating it while the gelatin-like mash potato is creamy, at the same time, the sauce is as flavourful as KFC's one.

At around $6, this coffee reminds me of my iced latte that i usually order at Starbucks.

The difference is that this is more milkier and has a subtle sweetness to it at the end. Drinking from the bottle itself gives me the chill feeling i have at a bar.

With an average price of $13, you will be able to get a decent ketchup/butter fried rice with a fluffy egg wrapped outside covered in cream/demi-glace/tomato/curry sauce.

Though portion may look small, it is actually just nice for your tummy. The cream-based sauce has a little sweet touch that complements the sourness of the ketchup in the rice.

The only complain i have are "more cream sauce pls!" and there's only 1 small piece of chicken in the ketchup rice.

Let's not compare this over conventional Sushi at other cheaper alternatives (supermarkets,...).

Quality of food is really good. Fresh salmon and their Ocha (green tea) is rather special as customers can prepare their own tea using their desired amount. Plain water is also available. Service is really good and fast.

What i really love was their Spicy Salmon Gunkan. You can't taste it is raw. So, i dare those that are agraid of raw salmon to give this a try.

Must try: Spicy Salmon, Chawamushi, soft-shelled crab, pan-seared salmon (if you love mentaiko).

Thick Kway Teow that has the strong wok-hei taste. Initially thought the gravy was kinda thick, but subsequently it was watery. I'm not sure why. Beef slices were served generously. Eaten together with the green chillis, i can only say it is damn stomach-shiiiook.

Should i have one more plate (but scared can't finish)? 真是好烦(hor-fun)!

Situated near the famous Zhai Shun Steamed Fish, this stall is yet another one that requires the patience of queuing.

The broth was really strong, but not deep in flavour. But i guess the shiok part was that when you bite the fried fish, the milky broth which the fried fish had soaked would ooze out. Furthermore, there was considerable amount of vegetables.

It would be great if the fried fish could come in separately.
