Always passing by the store but never once had I thought of trying it because I am not a fan of mochi. Little did I know, I have been missing out so much on this!
This is actually Mochi Ice Cream, my favourite flavour is milk(blue). This is really so good, much thanks to people who loves these and recommended me.
They are now having islandwide delivery for a very affordable fee of just $5!
When craving for foie gras strike and the only place I can think of is here.
My usual order is spicy mentai but felt like having something different and went for the truffle one, it was pretty good!

What’s your favourite sashimi? Mine is swordfish.
Unfortunately for me, there is no swordfish in there 😂 Still a decent bowl of chirashi though. Chikuwatei’s chirashi includes yellowtail, unagi, sweet prawn, tuna, scallop, salmon, ikura, tobiko & tamago.
Despite being around for awhile and one of the chirashi found in many listicles, it took me until now to finally give this a try.
I actually went to Manzoku first, which is also under The Yoi Group but they seem to be temporarily closed due to COVID-19 and the notice on the shop front redirected me to Chikuwai Tei. So don’t make the same mistake I do 😄

Had Shi Li Fang Hotpot for the first time, it was a pleasant dining experience. Now that I’m looking at this, I am craving for it again.
Their sets are more worth it, get the set!

One of my favourite ice cream place. They have since moved to a bigger space, just few units away from the previous spot.
My two favourites were Hazelnut & Cookie n Cream, but recently I tried the Baileys w/ Dark Chocolate Chips and really like it!
I was never a fan of waffle cone but, up till current date, this is the only ice cream place that makes me go back for more. Freshly made, texture was always light & crispy! 👍🏻

New 👑King👑 in town! Less than a week old, King Of Pao Fan.
Piping hot seafood broth, simmered with prawns, pork & chicken, for the delicious pao fan. Thick slices of fish found in the bowl. Topped with crispy fried egg floss.
Being indecisive, Duo Style Pao Fan is perfect for me. I like both their fried & slice fish, would definitely get this again the next time. For those who are keen, there is Lobster Pao Fan as well! 🦞
