pictured is The Homecoming, ($20ish) which was our fav cocktail of the night. the cloud was cotton candy, and the cocktail itself was not toooo sweet, and was reminiscent of chng tng. had a lovely time here and the rest of the food was good as well, but the cocktails really stood out.
each cocktail is so unique - it’s like visiting a museum, before you consume each cocktail the server explains the backstory, inspiration, and ingredients. simply wonderful
Great experience, food was affordably priced and extremely tasty.
Had the baby squid and the spicy aioli sauce was phenomenal.
always a long queue during lunch, evidently i’m not the only one who likes this stall. Two main noodle options - the pork belly or the honey glazed bbq char siew.
I have tried both, and while i inherently prefer pork belly, the char siew is memorable too. i love the noodles because i’m a carbs person and it is just the right amount of savoury, but the meat (regardless if you get the pork belly or the char siew) is the star of the show here.
run by youngish hawkers, you can tell they take pride in their craft. i’m vaguely aware they sell some low calorie bread and cake options too but damn, the noodles are really good
You get the BEST of both worlds with this. About $7-10 a bowl but western food at hawker centres are also similarly priced.
This is so good tho, i didn’t expect to be so full from just a bowl. You get the best of both worlds here, packed and brimming with flavour, you can taste the familiar earthy twang of the BCM (mushroom + minced pork + vinegar) combination, and the generous thick cuts of pork slices and mushrooms. Served w a ramen egg, what’s not to like?
Wow. truly one for the books.
i’m a convert. my photo may be lacklustre but this dish is not. It’s INCREDIBLE.
not a huge cold noodle fan because i always feel noodles should be hot then it’ll be shiok…. but today the weather really damn hot so i decided to go for it. i’m a convert. i’m ordering cold noodles every time i go to a korean place from now on.
the soup is so good, i couldn’t believe how refreshing it was! there were fresh pear slices in addition to the vinegar, chilli seeds, and cucumber slices to provide a zesty, complex profile to it. masterfully done! kudos to the chef!
Incredible seafood pancake… i’ve eaten quite a few from different korean places but this takes the cake. we ordered one to share in addition to our mains and it was so good!
crisp and not too oily. the thickness of the pancake was JUST RIGHT. some places overdo it and it’s too thick and gelat, some places are too thin and not worth the money, but this one really hit the spot. seafood was fresh and provided a depth to the pancakes.
recommend dipping it into the sauce! will definitely come back again
