Was on a run and was passing by, when I noticed FlagWhite. I had heard about this cafe so decided to give it a go. And since just had completed a run didnât want to have anything heavy. So went for a healthier choice, Avocado banana smoothie. It was a blend of avocado, banana, oatmilk and agave. It instantly gave me that extra boost and thereafter I went to complete another run. The sweetness could have been a tidbit higher.
Had heard a lot about this place and finally got a chance to visit it. I loved the decor of the place (specially the seatable cars) and it gives a sense of comfy cafe tucked away in a corner. As for the food it was just ok. I ordered the Spanish Omelette which was well cooked but it lacked the the concoction somehow. And for the pomegranate juice it felt a little blunt.
It brings along a concoction of strawberry jelly, custard fresh cream, strawberry confiture, fresh cream and strawberry sauce all in one convenient cup. Fresh flavorsome Japanese Strawberries on the top adds to the entire blissful experience.
With two poached eggs on top of tender braised ox cheeks and lightly toasted artisanal sourdough toast.
These eggs oozed, and Oh-my-goodness, the combination with the rich melting tender-licious cheeks makes Common Manâs version a class of their own. After taking the first bite, I told myself âThis is possibly one of the best eggs ben I had in Singaporeâ - 26S$
A perfect medium-rare charcoal-grilled wagyu beef, topped with an onsen egg and shredded leeks over rice. It is also seasoned with a hint of truffle oil for the addition of that amazing aroma. Every single bite sends you to heaven. I closed my eyes to savour every single ounce of flavour of that marvelous wagyu beef. It was literally seasoned and grilled to perfection. It was just too good.
Voted the New Restaurant of the year and it lives up to its name. The location of the place is just perfect for anytime and any occasion. Moreover it has large space with both indoor and outdoor seating. We choose outdoor as the view it provides it not to be missed. As for the order we placed with a cocktail and a burger. Loved the burger - HENNE. It was decked up with perfectly cooked chicken breast topped with avocado cream, orange and mustard sauce and some sprouts. Undoubtedly one of the best places to hang out in Singapore.
As fancy as the name sounds, it tastes as fancy. Itâs mainly a mixture of Baileys, Amaretto and Raspberry and it definitely doesnât disappoint. All the flavors blend in perfectly and provides you with the freshness burst you may require after work. Undoubtedly one of my favorites.
As served super hot, donât burn up your mouth in a hurry to eat it đ. I love seafood and I love noodles, the this combo never disappoints. All the ingredients in the dish perfectly blended with each other, the only thing was that I felt it was a little blunt. To make up for it, mixed some chillies and condiments and it turned out to be pretty good.
Pavlova with Lemon Curd, Pasionfruit, Jam, Mango & Basil. The combination looked quite confusing but since it was the chefs recommendation, thought of giving it a go. Surprisingly, it tasted quite good as I thought it might be abit too sweet given that it's Pavlova but with the other sourish stuff to compliment the sweetness, overall it's great.
Unlike your usual breakfast platters consisting of eggs, bacon and/or pancakes etc., Wild Honey totally nailed it for their innovative breakfast offerings. Piping hot and spicy pan of shakshouka together with Chorizo sausage with fried eggs and brioche. The shakshouka was flavourful and was perfect with the fluffy brioche. It was like a treasure hunt trying to find the Chorizo sausage but really, anything doesn't matter as long as you have the heavenly combination of brioche and shakshouka. Highly Recommended ($24)
Features a cream base pasta cooked with tuna chunks, and tossed in lemon juice, anchovy bits and capers, before garnishing with chilli flakes, cherry tomatoes and wild rockets. Cooked al-dente, the pasta noodles boost a firmer, drier texture, while the generous addition of tuna chunks embedded within and rediscovered in every bite was a delight to the tastebuds and fared well as a refreshing combination. Its so light on the tummy and I felt like ordering one more but restricted myself from doing that đ ($14.50).
I love pepper and if you love pepper, should definitely try out this place. The beef is perfectly cooked to my satisfaction and the curry just adds to the flavour (provided separately, I like it topped over the beef). The pepper rice blends just right in with the curry. If u donât know what you want for dinner, itâs the best dish to go with and fill your tummy with.
