It's comprised of a wholesome spread of Vegemite, known locally as Marmite, coated with a slather of melted cheese, the toast is then sliced into small strands. Served with two soft boiled whole eggs that can be used as a dip or just have it the way one likes it (Just a delight to dip the toast sticks into the curry of the egg).
The name justifies it totally. Can be easily served for three. It’s a collection of Signature Wings, Onion Rings, Tupelo Chicken Tenders, Southwest spring rolls and bruschetta. Served with homemade honey mustard, hickory barbecue sauce and blue cheese dressings. Just go for it. Totally worth digging for.
Hard Rock Cafe serves the best brownie sundae in town, with large portions arriving in a bowl filled with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge on a dense chocolate brownie, topped with chopped walnuts, chocolate sprinkles, fresh whipped cream and a cherry. It’s just organismic and totally worth it. Easily serves two people, however a third can join too.
I love crabs. After coming to Singapore its my 1st time trying at this restaurant and it didn't disappoint though. Their concept is to offer crabs in a Louisiana/Cajun style, although with some interesting deviations. We went with the preparation of Dungeness Crab with a zesty garlic preparations (Three choices available i.e. Beurre Blanc, Zesty Garlic Butter, Spicy Miso Butter). For the most part, it was quite tasty! The crab itself was very fresh and the meat was easy to pick off. The whole thing was also served with a bag which included sausages and corn (You can select from a variety of options). Anyway, it's an interesting concept, and perhaps the next time, we will try another sauce.
The names itself is very appealing and totally justifies the presentation. It is inspired by the classic combination of peanut butter and jelly and is recreated with biscuit tuiles and strawberry chocolate jelly and passionfruit caramel cream paired with Peanut Butter Crunch ice cream and plated on a creative burst of chocolate paints. However, the taste was not that satisfactory in comparison to the presentation. It could have been better. Comes with a heavy price tag of S$ 21.90.
If you love almond, this is absolutely for you.
The boiled milk gives a rather long-lasting milky taste in your mouth. If you aren't really a fan of milk, the almond will be there to add on texture and extra nutty taste to the milk!
Cantonese BBQ Burger, has beef and Swiss cheese slathered with a tart mayonnaise made with fermented black beans, soya sauce and sesame oil and sambal BBQ sauce all packed together. The combination is very interesting and doesn’t disappoint at all. It’s a burger lovers delight to say. Enjoy life with each bite of this sumptuous burger.
Flaming Hot Tonkotsu Ramen from Kanshoku Ramen with added ajitama egg. Essentially Korean ramyun noodles which have undergone a Japanese stylistic makeover and a decidedly non-Japanese incendiary flavour blast. Flamethirsty folks from all levels of gutsy on the safety spectrum will enjoy this – the lily-livered slow-sippers will appreciate the comfortable level of heat from small spoonfuls of the broth which unfortunately decreases in spice level once your mouth is acclimatized, while the bold and brave can enjoy searingly painful pleasure with bigger gulps. Elsewhere, the chashu is lean, soft and sweet whilst the whole ajitama egg is delightfully molten inside, which goes to show that sometimes keeping your secret gem hidden may be a better idea than publicly displaying everything underneath for the sake of visual appreciation and praise.
This new premium sandwich ($11.90) is a wonderful thing: slivers of succulent smoked spicy chicken, perched on refreshing veggies, tomatoes, red onion and cheddar cheese. Properly made, it threatens to be too tall to eat, but anyone with a firm grip will make the tender meat comply, squishing down just enough for that first juicy bite. It’s the ultimate lunchtime belly filler.
I had always wanted to have a meal here and finally got the time to do so. And oh totally worth it. The food is simple and yet delicious. I was not so hungry as such went for the 2 Deli Set which consists of 1 Hot Deli and 1 Cold Deli with the following 3 choices: 1. 16 Grain Rice/ White Rice/ Bread, 2. Miso Soup/ Cumin Carrot Soup, 3. Onsen Egg/ Hijiki. For the hot deli I choose Baked Salmon Vichyssoise cooked perfectly and for cold deli Baked Salmon Vichyssoise which was so so. However the star of the set was the cumin carrot soup. Have to try out the other options soon.
One of the best Phat Thai I had in some time. The quantity is just fine but some may fine it to be a little less. Hot off the wok, the fried noodle was absolutely delicious, fresh, with the perfect balance of flavors. It was a tad spicy, savory, sweet and sour. I was instantly hooked.
Thai Express makes sure their marinated chicken is cooked slowly to seal in the flavours and to keep it moist. The curry sauce has enough spice to give it plenty of bite, but it's not overpoweringly hot. Its complex spice palate makes it fragrant and fruity while the coconut milk adds a depth of rich flavour. For an extra special finish, try a crispy roti. These little flatbreads are perfect for chasing the last of that amazing sauce out of the corners of your bowl.
