Taste alot like a firmer or more dense macdonald’s vanilla soft serve. Rather disappointing, not that special despite the cute swirling. I did like that it wasn’t too sweet or cloying flavourwise but I do not think it is worth the money as it has a pretty mundane taste.
Buttery bread nested tender lobster in butter, mayo and herbs. Nice nutty flavour and texture is good. Went around 3pm so there was no queue.
There is a regular and large size, but even the regular bowl is enough to be filling, so a beef bowl for $12.90 is such a good deal. The meat is not fatty but is thinly sliced and very tender. The garlic, truffle and egg all come together into a very satisfying and savoury meal, recommend!
Wanted to try their pancakes so I went very early (one of the first few customers) but I was told it was sold out. The eggs were not overcooked and paired well with the avocado for a filling meal. Not amazing but a good meal for cheap price in town area.
This time’s mystery flavour for valentines is rose. Texture and consistency is on point as always but it just tastes like bandung so it’s not really worth it in my opinion.
Creamy perfectly scrambled eggs with juicy meaty mushrooms, sourdough, thick stab of bacon, pork sausage and salad. One of the best scrambled eggs from the cafes I have eaten at so far and the juicy mushrooms were my favourite parts of the meal. Not a fan of the avocado as they added some kind of lemon or lime to the mix. A very decent and filling breadfast but I would recommend their Breakfast Sanga more.
Really flavourful steak that is cooked sous vide, it was really tender till I came across this 10% of the meat that I wasn’t able to chew through. Not sure why.
Of course a place called Scrambled has the most fabulous eggs I’ve ever eaten. It’s creamy, buttery and well-seasoned with salt, pepper and chives that is a sure winner.
I recommend getting it with the signature fries which have this nice herb-like savoury flavour.
Yummy brioche bun with emmental cheese and a thick slab of bacon and egg. I requested for no pickles. Simple but so delicious. The staff is really friendly and the place has a relaxing and nice vibe. Recommended!
Beef burger with cute gudetama fried egg and bioche bun. Among character cafes, gudetama has pretty legit food. The beef patty was actually still juicy but I did wish it could be more rare. There is a ton of fries on the pan it was served on. Overall it’s okay pretty good although a lil costly. Everyone is here for the cuteness afterall 🍳
Succulent and juicy pork belly topped on chestnut rice. The chestnut rice was a little disappointing as I expected some chestnut chucks or a sweeter taste but the rice has a slight sour aftertaste. The pork however gets full stars and is such a steal at the amount given for $15 ! Really tender pork belly.
Just come right out the Tanjong Pagar MRT gantry you you should see it nearby. Tender wagyu rested on top of rice and mushrooms. Pretty good.
Had a bad day and decided to treat myself with this. Absolutely tender and savory beef that releases that umami with every bite. This is the beef of dreams. Served with a perfect onsen egg, sesame tofu (which wasn’t my thing) and a very delicious miso ( Is it red miso? The soup had a nice depth to it). Worth the spurge!
