another great main from the burpple 3-course ser menu worth mentioning is the salmon - just the right amount of pink, with the skin cooked to a crispy and tasty goodness. the ambience of the place also perfectly complements the food, and the terrace with its view of the city was a nice place to walk while waiting in between courses.

took the 3-course dinner deal from burpple, and got the kurobata pork as the main - pork was tender and easy to chew, well-flavoured and savoury with every bite. service was great as well and very happy with how the staff made an effort to remember who to serve which main to, and ensure that all the mains come together so we can all eat together :)

also glad this place is finally on burpple!! the waffles were warm and soft, the hazelnut nutella ice cream was tasty and complemented the waffles well, and the beer was a great additional touch :) a friday evening well spent!

our weekend visits to fro roll are now even better that it’s finally on burpple!! the s’mores brownie waffle was a decadent and tasty post-dinner treat, and the dark chocolate ice cream piled on top just made each bite even more delightful :)

Ordered a carbonara, which was both creamy and delicious - the sous vide egg on the top was perfect too. Left feeling happy and full :)

Came here with my parents and bae for a mid-afternoon brunch, a real value-for-money place and a very juicy burger :)

Continuing on from Sunday brunch at The Bread Shop, my parents got the Sunday special Ham and Cheese Croissant with a Pumpkin Soup to go with it. The portion was pretty substantial and good for sharing if you’re not feeling too hungry - the soup is sweet and tasty, best finished hot (of course), and the croissant was buttery stuffed just right with the ham and cheese. Enjoyed every bit of it!

Went out for a nice family brunch with my parents and bf and wandered into The Bread Shop, where we got an All-In Breakfast. The roasted potatoes were flavourful, the scrambled eggs were fluffy and the chorizo added a spicy side to the meal. The two slices of mini-bread were also soft and easy to eat, and went well with the scrambled eggs

We also got a garlic bomb (not pictured here) which was also fantastic - the bread was perfectly toasted and the garlic butter was nicely absorbed into it, so each bite was both crunchy and savoury. Great Sunday find :)

Went to Kooks for a Friday post-dinner treat with my parents and we got one Signature Lava Set (which is molten chocolate filling for the cookie) with coconut ice cream and one Matcha Lava Set with pistachio ice cream. The cookie is baked to perfection, with a soft gooey inside that oozes out with each scoop, and the ice cream is a great pairing with that nice blend of hot and cold melting in your mouth. Great dessert spot for a simple bit scrumptious bite!

Had a short weekday dinner date with my bf, where he ordered a Delicious Bowl at Haikee, and it was true to its name - all of the meat was very tender and well-seasoned, and went well with the rest of the dishes. Comfort food with a flavourful twist!

Decided to come back to Fro Roll for some post-dinner desert and tried two more awesome flavours, Salted Caramel and Earl Grey, which are both creamy and delicious. Was a sweet way to end the weekend :)

Had a nice surprise birthday lunch with my bf at Salt Grill & Sky Bar, where we ordered the set lunch - the highlight was the salmon, which was a nice balance of sweet and salty. The staff also gave amazing service, and the view from the restaurant of Singapore city was very memorable as well. Worth the experience!
