Wonderfully creamy eggy curry sauce drenched over sweet crab meat. The sauce is dreadfully addictive, be warned!
Sometimes you come across a dish that makes perfect sense and makes you wonder why haven't anyone tried this before. This is one of those. The hokkien mee arrives in a steaming hot mess with the broth bubbling merrily away. Over time, all broth will be sucked into the noodles making them even more flavorful! Slurp!

As for the food wise, we had the meatballs & pulled pork taco but they were pretty meh, so you might wana grab a bite before heading here!
Laksa with beef noodles? Sacrilegious! But it all works out pretty well actually, spicy laksa taste with beef stock goes surprisingly well. The soup is not the typical milky nonya laksa but savory and topped with generous amount of beef. Nice!
Forget sophistication, this just tastes like good ole home cooked food done well. The wedges are simply cut, fried potatoes, the cutlet still has bits of bone, most probably left over when they were deboning the fillet by hand. The heart is well and alive in the food and it left us smiling with satisfaction.
Cafe Melba is great for families with kids, they have a huge grass field for kids to run about and a bouncy castle to keep them entertained. Food was just average at best, nothing to shout about.
One of the things that Hanare does well is bara chirashi and it shows. Mounds of fresh succulent sashimi slathered on top of steaming hot rice and freshly grated wasabi. All for less than 20? Add to the mix a kitschy throwback to a 80s buffet line that somehow grows on you and you will have one of the best value for money chirashi don anywhere.
Dim sum place just next to the famous soi 19 wanton mee! Pretty decent and value for money!
