Juicy Wagyu Beef Patties!! Used the 1-1 Burpple deal here and I got the Avocado Wagyu Burger. Came with 2 Wagyu patties and they were really juicy. It was quite oily though (perhaps because of the fat from the Wagyu?) But considering the price after the deal ($12.50 each) it was pretty worth it. 8.5/10 👍🏼

Laksa Cheese Fries ($14) Fries topped with laksa gravy, runny egg, oozy mozzarella, prawns and fried beancurd strips .

Golden Sand Chicken & Waffle ($20) Creamery butter sauce coated Southern fried chicken served with crisp buttermilk waffle and topped with golden sand .

The Beast Nasi Lemak Burger ($22) Southern fried chicken thigh smothered with house-made sambal topped with a runny egg, sandwiched between deep fried fragrant coconut rice “buns”, served with a side of luncheon meat fries .

New menu! Had this a while back but remembered it to be a pretty decent meal! Here is what we tried: Octopus Chorizo ($18); The best item of the night! Born out of a happy accident, the Octopus Chorizo was a product of a double-dare between their Chefs to reinvent the classic Bangers & Mash with octopus. The masterpiece — tantalising golden gravy cascading down a pillowy mash mountain, laden with octopus & chorizo. Fish Taco ($14); Beer-battered dory with Tortilla, Chipotle Coleslaw, Mayo and Salsa. Porter House Steak ($49); Seasoned with a simple herb rub to accentuate the meaty flavours, then carefully cut into ideal sharing slices. It took over 35 rounds of experimentation to perfect this tricky cut, from its seared brown crust while retaining a tender and juicy bite. Mentai Pasta ($21); Smoked salmon with mentai cream sauce, masago, nori and linguine. This could be more flavourful though. We also had interesting beers in the form of Lychee Sapporo Draft ($11) and Yuan Yang Sapporo Draft ($11).

Nice place to visit Stylish interior, feels nice to be in. Ordered the butterfly chicken and 2 other sharing foods. The chicken was nicely prepared, juicy, flavourful and smells good. Would go for the chicken again.

Fish Tacos & Mentai Salmon Pasta Ordered their Salmon Mentai and Fish Taco and they are seriously Superb! Love how the mentaiko integrates so well into the pasta sauce and the fish tacos is so soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Highly recommend!

Kampung Chicken Set Good portions of chicken and beansprouts for a $9.50 set!

Create Your Own Rosti (from $16.90++) If you can’t find what you want on the menu, you can DIY your own rosti to match your preferences. My friend chose oven-roasted chicken 1/2 (+$3.50) and oven-roasted potato (+$1). The 1/2 chicken portion was large, with crispy skin and a meaty bite, but it was somewhat dry and would benefit from a sauce to add moisture. The oven-roasted potato was soft yet crunchy, contrasting nicely with the soft, mushy texture of the rosti. Believe me, the taste of potatoes changes significantly depending on how they're cooked or cut, making this a good addition for potato lover.

Gotthard Jumbo Rosti ($21.90) Fluffy, crisp potatoes topped with smoked pork cervelat, a fried egg, and caramelised onions. The thick, fat, and juicy sausage made from pork, beef, and various seasonings was flavourful, though slightly salty. The sweetness of the caramelised onions provided a good balance to the sausage's saltiness.

Eiger Jumbo Rosti ($19.90) Swiss smoked bacon and creamy sautéed mushrooms are generously served over a base of hand-grated, fluffy, crisp potatoes. The rosti was soft and lightly mushy inside, with a crisp exterior. The thicker potato shreds provided a more tastisfying texture. The smoked bacon is a must-try. It's a thick, juicy, chewy slab of bacon with a fantastic smoky flavour, not the thin, crispy type. It pairs wonderfully with the rosti. The creamy sautéed mushrooms were another highlight, offering an earthy, rustic bite with creaminess that wasn't overpowering.

BBQ Beef Grilled Cheese Sandwich Portion was huge and the entire sandwich was oozing with the beef brisket and cheese! Think they used like 3 different types of cheese but with the flavour from the beef brisket, it really wasn’t overwhelming at all. It comes with real hot soup in a mug (cute!). We got the mushroom soup which was also really nice and full of flavour - kinda feels like it just warms your soul?

Good Ol’ Eggs Benny Had the eggs benedict with stewed spinach! My eggs were perfectly poached and runny and the hollandaise sauce was yumz but tbh I’d skip the spinach - felt like it was unseasoned and it didn’t really work with the whole dish. Oh but I really really like the roasted potatoes!

Ice Cream Ordered hokkaido strawberry 👍, balrhona chocolate. Earl Grey (taste abit light) and pistachio (quite fragrant) . Quite a good deal!

Satisfying buffet that you gotta go! It was interesting to find out that @cqgf.sg has a buffet menu, and if you are a big eater, this is a very good option to go for! The weekday lunch buffet cost just $28.80, with many grilled fish and side dishes that you can order. Among all the variations of grilled fish we ordered, the 𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙯𝙝𝙤𝙪 𝙊𝙡𝙙 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙂𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙁𝙞𝙨𝙝 was our favourite. The patin fish used was very meaty and really fresh, and we loved how flaky it was! It was cooked in a very fragrant chilli oil that isn't too spicy and yet very flavourful! Among the many selections of side dishes that we enjoyed such as saliva chicken, seasoned black fungus as well as egg fried rice, the 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙈𝙖𝙣 𝙏𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙈𝙞𝙡𝙠 was the perfect accompaniment to the grilled fish. It was crispy, fluffy and the sweet touch of the condensed milk gave a good break to the savoury meal we were having. Can't wait to be back to have a feast with my friends here again!

Spicy Numbing Patin Fish 川味麻辣水果鱼 The main star of the night is the signature Spicy Numbing Patin Fish 川味麻辣水果鱼($44). The mild spicy level is quite comfortable and the fish is very soft and flavourful. However, it is also quite salty and you definitely need some rice to go with it. The fish already comes with a number of sides such as scallops and clams, and we added on other sides such as mushroom platter, black fungus, thick vermicelli, frozen beancurd, Chinese cabbage and fried beancurd skin, which makes it a really hearty meal. Overall, the food is on the saltier side and it does get a little jelak towards the end but I still enjoyed this on the whole!

Sliced Pork Belly with Spicy Garlic Sauce 蒜泥白肉 For appetiser, we ordered Sliced Pork Belly with Spicy Garlic Sauce 蒜泥白肉 ($8.90) and the fragrant garlic sauce goes well with the thinly sliced pork belly.

Pink Guava Yakult w Rock Sugar Pearl Pink Guava Yakult ($5.20) w Rock Sugar Pearl ($1.10) ($6.30) My sister and I have covered pink guava drink base related drink for hollin lol. I didn't never tried yakult based drink tbh for hollin. The taste for yakult is not that strong that I expected that but I rarely taste pink guava except rock sugar pearl was slightly strong savoury taste.

Dont get Taro pudding Thought the Taro pudding and drink tasted quite artificial. There wasn't much pudding too.
