After trying many many flavours, we decided to go with the Salted Choc Chip and Blue Planet flavours. Between the two, the former is my favourite with its creamy texture and well-balanced flavour (though I’m generally very biased towards sweet-savoury flavour combinations). I foresee myself getting salted choc chip with the addictive almond cone for future visits!
Pro tip: A single scoop of premium flavour is $6.90, whereas a double scoop is priced at only $8. If you’re visiting with a friend, do share a double scoop instead of getting individual cups!
Liked the chicken more than the prawns — both are ideal for sharing as portions are quite generous. Used #BurppleBeyond here, but If you’re here for lunch, the $7.90 set lunch is also very pocket-friendly.
Want soupy mala xiang guo? This is the place to go! If you’re a mala wimp like me, go for the xiao la level. So flavourful with just the right amount of heat. Ingredients were fresh and generous too!
Wanted something less indulgent than bbt and decided to try this since they are on #BurppleBeyond.
I liked the zippy and refreshing flavour from the pineapple enzyme, and that it was not too sweet nor acidic. I prefer the pineapple more than the mango, but will try the yoghurt drink next time! Bonus points for super friendly service — they even let you try if you’re not sure which flavour to get.
This came highly recommended by the bartender and I’m glad we heeded his advice cos this was really enjoyable. It’s not much of a looker, but the combination of tender and juicy chicken with the onion relish, harissa yoghurt and coriander chutney was a party in the mouth.
This was free with #BurppleBeyond’s 1-for-1 deal! ✌🏼
Another recommended item which was enjoyable (though I enjoyed the tandoori burger more). While the beef kebab is not the homemade sort, I liked the contrast of the sweet tomato and shallot relish against the tangy sumac and yoghurt.
Enjoyed 1-for-1 here with #BurppleBeyond!
I love grilled fish so I was really excited to hear about Keisuke’s latest value-for-money concept. Every charcoal-grilled set includes miso soup, rice, onsen egg and salad bar access.
All three proteins we tried were cooked and seasoned well. The chicken was juicy while both fish options tasted fresh. Will be back again!
Unlike Hamburg Keisuke, the salad bar here is smaller and does not have the eggs station. Regardless, there’s more than enough to try while waiting for your charcoal-grilled mains. My favourites are the dan dan mian, bestest potato salad, crunchy broccoli with the garlicky French dressing and the coffee jelly with cream for dessert.
So glad this was the chef’s special when we visited. With a whole blob of burrata 😍, you don’t really need anything else other than the basic tomato and mozzarella base plus fresh basil leaves. Liked that the dough was chewy and not too thick (although it got a little too thin towards the centre, but no biggie).
Super casual and no GST or service charge.
Pretty wholesome meal comprising a generous sized chicken leg with roasted veggies and pumpkin mash. Don’t think there’s any dairy added to the mash so don’t expect it to be rich.
Used #BurppleBeyond here so this was our free main dish! 🙌🏼
The salmon was cooked just nice: moist on the inside with a nicely seared skin. I liked the hint of sour cream in the lemon butter sauce.
Note that the seasoning is on the lighter side overall.
Used #BurppleBeyond here and got the other main for free!
Went with the recommended Honduras (washed Catuai varietal from Finca Mogola) and loved the super easy-to-drink brew. The dried fruits and brown sugar notes really come through!
Major bonus points for the warm and friendly staff here too. 🙌🏼
