Divine felafel sandwich Not only is this place kosher, halal, and vegan, but it also shows that vegan food can be tasty too <3 I love the fill free sandwich. I also recommend the pita chips and the babaghanoush 🤩

back at my fav place for hummus & pitas! I tried their PITA CHIPS ($3.50) which was 1.5 pitas cut into thin strips & deep-fried till crunchy💥💥 They were then dusted with cajun & za’atar, and served with tahini and harissa. super addictive but pls share bcoz i finished it and the oil was swimming in my stomach HAHA

Taste It All $28.50 (also comes w 2 pitas) My first time eating middle eastern cuisine and this is a good platter to start with!

house-elves special pork ribs ($23) this was so so good!!! the buttercream poached ribs were incredibly tender and i loved the sauce it came in and pesto mayo drizzle. mash potatoes were nice too and the beetroot was pickled well

crab meat aglio olio ($18) first time seeing aglio olio topped w smoked salmon. this dish was really flavourful & spicy which is great🌶👍🏼 there is an option for non spicy too

saffron pan seared salmon ($19) big portion and salmon was really tender! i liked the mashed beetroot too

Pork belly 18++ Not a big portion, there's a little bit of crisp which disappeared quickly, the meat wasn't the best texture and there's a little bit of funk from sake or sth Average

Miso cod 35++ Weak miso and didn't amplify umami much, skin was crispy but burnt, literally. Cod could have been more fresh too

1-for-1 NOT AVAILABLE Didn't actually dine here bc I was told that the burpple beyond deal was not available because "that deal was from a long long time ago", and that "we've been trying to contact burpple about this". Although Burrple states that this deal is until 30 Sep 2020. Either burpple hasn't checked up on this merchant, or they're not holding up on their end of the contract. Anyway, the waiter who told us this was very polite and apologetic about it, and even helped us check with management twice about it. I know it's not the waiter's fault, but management has really got to get their *stuff* together when they're putting out blatantly false advertisements to beguile patrons to their uninhabited bar.

LUX Old Fashioned ($20) For Burpple Beyond 1-for-1, we were only allowed to get the cocktails from the menu, but it was still super worth it. I got the LUX Old Fashioned, which has bourbon, agave nectar, and angostura butters. It was quite strong and I liked that they didn’t dilute the bourbon at all, and the hint of the nectar adds a sweetness to each sip.

Fried Chicken Wings Fried Chicken Wings ($12) . Lipsmacking chicken wings coated with a mildly spicy korean sweet and savoury red pepper sauce from @lux_alfrescobar which is located right outside Nox, dine in the dark. Just a tad on the pricey side for 5 pieces but made more affordable because of #burpplebeyond! The Mountains of Taiwan cocktail I tried was pretty interesting and tasted great too.

Prosciutto E Rucola I ordered this Prosciutto E Rucola (S$30.00) through the Oddle Eats platform, and this was one of the more satisfying takeaway pizzas to date. The dough was to my liking: airy and not too dense, with a good balance of crustiness to every bite. It was very nice of them to have packed the arugula and shaved parmigiana separately so that the greens remained raw when served. Apart from the parma ham, another important element was the sauce tub of chilli oil that accompanied the pizza. I’m sure many would agree that one tub was barely enough to go with the pizza, because it could make the already-delicious pizza even more mouth-watering.

Tonnareli Nero 28++ One of the best I've had as of 7/7/21. This tiny portion costs 28++ so savour it slowly but damn the sauce was so full of crab essence. Can only imagine the hours that went into it. Must try! We had pizza and bread so this portion worked for the two of us(anything larger and we wouldn't have finished). Cicheti serves restaurant quality Italian at restaurant prices but at such an ulu place. Their food is fortunately a cut above the rest though so the prices are kind of justified

Chili Oil Off menu. Request for it to go with your pizza. It was uh-mazing. I'm really glad the chili is real, there's quite some heat so it isn't just oil. There's a distinct Asian influence, almost sort of a mild funk to it but the edge is taken away since it's only an infusion. Good to enjoy by dipping the crust in, esp for monsters that usually throw the crust away

Signature Mochi Donut with Cookie Butter Softserve ($15) Yum! Mochi donut was served hot and was very pleasantly chewy, it’s not sweet on its own so it complements the other components. The cookie biscuit that was the base of the softserve was good too, crunchy and sweet/buttery. Softserve was p smooth and creamy, cookie butter flavour was distinct and honestly much less sweet than typical speculoos-flavoured desserts. It’s served with some granola (that had freeze dried raspberry bits) and salted caramel sauce! Overall a p solid dessert, each component was good and came together nicely, not too sweet as a whole. The mochi donut is v filling so thankfully we shared this between 3! The only thing is that it would have been better if served on a plate - having it in the bowl meant that the donut was soaked in the softserve ‘soup’ when it melted.

Mochi Donut Icecream Brotherbird is very well known for their pastries especially their croissants! To my delight, their cafe’s desserts are beyond imagination. This bowl of goodness is put together using bisoff soft serve, Mochi donut, dried strawberries and wafer. The texture was so balanced with soft and crisp, hot and cold. Goes really well with coffee and tea. Expected Damage: $15

Finally tried this on a lazy Friday afternoon. This mentaiko prawn double baked croissant feels well tailored to the singapore tastebud, with hints of sambal and lotssss of prawns. For $6.50, it's a unique dish that deserves a try. Plus it's quiet in the afternoon for some readings too. Only wished it could be served hotter and more crisp.

Caramelised Onions & Cheese Toastie Crisp and tangy croissant cradling a molten mix of cheese and golden, slow-cooked onions. The sweetness of the onions plays beautifully against the savoury richness and every bite feels like a warm blanket on a cool day.

Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Sablé Chewy, gooey, and packed with dark chocolate. That sprinkle of sea salt makes every bite pop 》$4

Torta della nonna - Lots of pine nuts on top and within! - Taste was light with a prominent vanilla bean flavour, reminding me of a nougat which I enjoyed though it became a little one-dimensional after awhile. - Ricotta provided a mild milkiness, filling had a densely thick texture. - Crust was buttery sweet with a crumbly, biscuit-like bite similar to shortbread 🥧

螃蟹鸡煲 螃蟹不大，但是肉很结实，鲜甜，中锅两个人吃，加两个配菜，加个小凉菜，差不多。 中辣，可以接受，味道香。下饭。

Go for their hearty pots 😍 Finally tried @fatbird.sg and I was hooked! Their chicken pot was indeed very comforting and tasty 😍 We had the Large Chicken Pot ($38.80 - 30% off with #burpplebeyond ) and it came MASSIVE. The portion is definitely more than enough to feed 4-6 people, as they gave so much chicken within. The chicken pieces were very tender and well marinated as well. We got the original house special sauce, which was very comforting due to its sweet, savoury and spicy flavours. As the pot mainly contains just chicken and Enoki mushrooms, I highly recommend ordering the vegetable platter ($13.80) to go with it. The platter came with a heaping amount of different vegetable types, including potato and lotus root which were great additions to the broth. For starters, the Salted Egg Yolk Corn ($10.80) is a great sharing dish as it was sweet and savoury; a fun dish to munch on if you do order some beer! Do note that their soup can get quite salty towards the end, and I recommend adding water instead of their broth at the end. Definitely coming back for their hearty chicken pot and massive portions 😍

Spicy & Fragrant Chicken Pot Spicy and fragrant chicken pot with thick and savoury broth, filled with endless chunks of chicken tender to the bite. The broth tastes quite similar to the mala hotpot sans the numbing effect. Additional side dishes are available (chargeable) for add-ons. Betel Nut Wrap Seriously one of the best places for Thai Food .

Pad Thai Okay lor. I don't usually eat pad Thai. Big, good prawns.

Sawadee Olive Fried Rice The rice was really fragrant and there's a host of interesting garnish. But it's let down by a very bland chicken accompaniment.
