Not only did they peel all the crabs and prawns for you. The meats were so juicy and plump, fried rice cooked to the perfect texture with the perfect bite in every grain. It was truly an amazing meal. Deserving of their michelin awards.
Although TWG is known for tea, their macarons are TO DIE FOR. We loved the caramel (black one) and matcha (green one) the most. But the passionfruit (purple one) and tiramisu ones were very very good as well. Slightly crisp on the outside with the good chewy bite on the inside. The fillings were impeccable too!
Both were great to satisfy your sweet tooth!
Must try the dry ba kut teh. Its something unique to Soon Huat and really tasty.
The star of this dish was the chicken steak which had its skin crisped to perfection while still keeping the meat inside moist and juicy.
Sauce was 10/10 too, savoury umami goodness.
Moist chicken pieces topped with that creamy eggy goodness on rice. 🤤
The durian one is a must-try because they were super generous with the filling (with actual Durian flesh). All the mochi skins were not too thick while still having that chewy mochi bite. Loooove it! One of the better mochis I have tried.
Could be spicier but still loved the slight kick it had. Fish wasn’t as tender as that of Tan Yu but very worth since it was half the price of Tan Yu. 😋
Simply sautéed medley with egg yolk packed a punch of flavour 🤤
Crisp on the outside, tender and moist on the inside. It really MELTS. So so good. Highly recommend trying this humble looking dish at Borda Berri.
This was the winery with the best vibes out of all that we visited in the area. They had an outdoor seating area with trees decorated fairy lights. It was a fairytale-like setting, coupled with good wine.
Had an amazing wine tasting session at Muga. The reds were especially rich and good too.
