Ok maybe a lil expensive but they were yummy!
Salty peanut chocolate had really nice chocolate taste that was pretty intense for a ‘chocolate’, noting that it wasn’t ‘dark chocolate’. The salty peanut def added nice dimensions of crunch and saltiness to the chocolate gelato
Amao strawberry (premium) tasted really refreshing. Not creamy and more like a sorbet but carries that bold tangy strawberry flavor and actually quite impressive. A bit too refreshing for me on its own but when eaten alternatively with the heavier chocolate gelato, it was real nice!
The cup of gelato was topped with a pretty and lovely sweet potato piece!
Two scoops come at S$7.5 but gotta add S$3 for that strawberry since it’s a premium flavor.
All their ice creams are unique and all were very good!
I love the candied pecans that go along well with the pistachio and add VERY satisfying crunches.
There are still corn kernels which made the ice cream more interesting.
Mashed potato still had some uncrushed potato but I wasn’t bothered by that.
Would love if the minced beef inside had more flavor but overall still enjoyable and a hearty dish.
MHK’s sweet and sour pork was really good, really enjoyed it as a sweet and sour pork lover.
The batter was really nicely crispy and remained crispy until the end despite being covered by sauce. The sauce was also nice! Flatter and thinner in shape compared to round shape that this dish usually has in other places, the batter-meat ratio was decent and overall some really good sweet and sour pork indeed!
This was nice!
The bread and butter pudding itself was impressive, fluffy and perfectly soak-y, with some parts remaining crispy
The eggnog custard wasn’t sweet, very nice with some bitter alcohol hints.
Pistachio ice cream was very creamy but the pistachio was prominent too.
Overall a very well executed dessert, really approve as a bread lover!
On their lunch set, the raviolis were plump and the filling was delicious. The ravioli skin was a bit thick but still al denge and still enjoyable.
Overall dish was dominantly cheese flavored, but complemented well with the malbec reduction and crispy pangritatas.
If you love cheese, you’ll love this!
The best basque cheesecake? Probably!
Made with 4 cheese, I LOVE the original one
The matcha was good too, impressed by how both cheese and matcha flavor stands out without diminishing one another but compared to the original, I’ll definitely take the original one.
The original one really had the perfect flavors of cheese and sweetness, and of course some bitterness from the burnt part. My favorite part is the ‘melted’ part towards the center. Heavenly. The burnt part was denser and more bitter but also ok especially when eaten alternately with the melted part
Overal I REALLY RECOMMEND the original one. SO GOOD!
This is nice! The cheese given I think was generous and perfect, the incorporation of sauerkraut definitely made this sandwich more unique. If u’re no big fan of sauerkraut maybe can simply request to remove it, will still result in a good grilled cheese!
Also served with some tomato jam that I feel makes this sandwich more special!
After a major souffle let-down I still tried one of their cakes that I heard was great
This one is definitely much worth it than the souffle!
The sweetness is just right, the chocolate intensity is great, the pralines, fugde, and all other elements were nicely textured, had nice flavor, and each also had a nice amount so the overall texture balance of the cake was great.
No rum detected in the banana at all but the bananas were still AMAZING! Loved how it’s pan fried to let the natural caramelization of the banana out!
French toast was PERFECTly soaked, super love it!
Paired with berries and fresh yogurt (non sweetened), this is a french toast you can have as a main
Overall, as a french toast mania I’m GLAD GLAD GLAD I put this on my french toast bucketlist!
Had high expectations on this bc heard they have good souffles but maybe my expectations were too high. The souffle wasn’t as fluffy as expected, furthermore, the yuzu was too intense that its acidity will dehydrate your mouth even more, resulting in a very dry souffle
Not very recommended, unless you love super sour stuffs.
Manuka honey sorbet that came with it, although it had nice manuka honey notes, was also too sour in my opinion as to assist the souffle.
Would probably be better if I’ve opted for their cacao souffle!
With a much higher price tag compared to other hawker stalls, I think the amount is paid off!
The toppings were all damn great, I HATE supper fatty pork but their chashu had great meat-fat ratio. The onsen egg was perfect as it appears, and their Wantans are VERY GOOD! Fully loaded, taste nice, cover in very nice and thin wantan skin too.
Also super love that prawn covered in some curled crispy potato.
Overall VERY SATISFIED with the amount paid and would absolutely love to have it again!
