The crispy chicken breast wasn’t dry and I asked for a non-spicy version, the menu advertised it as spiced chicken breast. The staff were very friendly to accommodate my order. The waffles were abit more nua that expect but still the fluffy kind! It might not look like it, but it was very filling! Didn’t manage to finish it! Even planned to get the 20 layers devils chocolate cake but I had underestimated their chicken and waffles!!🤣

The view from Lavo is so refreshing! My parents usually hated the sun but they spent some time looking through the telescopes to spot buildings in the CBD area.

With burpple One for one! I got 2 ramens for the price of one! With tender slices of char Siew, a ramen egg and a spicy ramen that gives you a nice kick! This place doesn’t serve iced water but I noted many tables bringing in their own bubble tea. The staff are friendly.
Though isteak doesn’t take reservations, the star vista outlet is much bigger than its former holland village outlet! I love their wide variety of sides, for $20 you get 200g steak with an option of 2 sides. I got cream broccoli which usually comes as a huge branch of broccoli and cream spinach which isn’t a commonly ordered side. The cream spinach was my healthier choice over Mac n cheese which was my regular choice. The spinach was sour and creamy! The steak was juicy and tender!
Crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. The ice cream flavours aren’t too sweet, with unique flavours like Kaya roti, blue peppermint chocolate chip and more!
Loads of blended fresh strawberries . Though the price is steep, this is my 2nd time getting it! It’s so refreshing yet not overly sweet. There’s no sugar level option for this drink as I think it’s naturally sweetened by they strawberries. Tried to order it without ice and the staff said it would just taste like plain milk and strawberry which I don’t understand
These side dishes were part of the lunch set. The gyoza is recommended, juicy and tender! FYI I spotted a live cockroach running on the back of walls and pointed it out to a staff who quickly and quietly got rid of it.
Probably the most flavourful amongst the shio and Tonkotsu flavour but still not as good as keisuke

Seriously damn nice bread bowl! It’s not sourdough but the texture is closer to that of croissant.. but the fillings is a tad spicy for me. Loads of spices I believe along with chunks of chicken!
This is the unit facing the corner of Amoy street and Telok Ayer street. Convenient walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT exit G. Sheltered all the way. This portion is $4, there were bits of crispy lard which made it so do good!
