Mount Austin’s Spring Lab is a very picturesque location, reminds you of some European backdrop but... once you step out into the sun, and feel the humidity and heat. You’re like, NOPE! I’m still in Malaysia, Truly Asia! Lots of ootd spots! Spotted numerous insta-BFs/Hubbies bush shooting their other halfs!
Check out the crispy prawn chili dip! Perfect takeaway gift for your friends overseas!

[Swipe Right] Exclusively sold at @7elevensg, @yobickmalaysia [Halal] available in Original and Sakura flavors, is a new yogurt drink! It wasn’t too sweet but the Sakura taste was very subtle. It still makes a very refreshing drink though!
😂
The chicken was seasoned very thoroughly and tasted so juicy and tender, paired with waffles and spiced watermelon. If I was on death-row, this would be my last meal of choice!
🤣

I was keen to try their funfetti pancakes and their tree of donuts but after I saw this, I decided to cancel the order. There’s no way I could’ve finished it all!
Served with truffle mayo, white cabbage, green asparagus, Parma ham and Hollandaise sauce, it was a juicy mammoth for lunch! I loved how sweet the sliced tomatoes were. I’m definitely coming back to try more of their burgers. Did you know they sell waffles as well? 🤣

The grilled lobster cheese toast was something new on the menu, tried it. But I’ll stick to the signature lobster roll next time. It’s cheesey but, the serving of lobster meat is lackluster compared to the signature lobster roll. #cptslowyeoxjapan
Crunchy fresh cereal like Kellogg’s Special K (Forrest Berries, Oats and Honey and Vanilla Almond) topped over smooth and creamy frozen yogurt for just $3.50! It’s CEREAL-ly good!

I highly recommend the Confit Salmon ($11.90 for 1 and $20.90 for 2 pieces) The salmon was so tender and topped with ikura, it was so value for $!
🍽
Pictured is the Chilled Australian Striploin (200GM) ~ $19.90 served with fries, salad and beef jus!

No trip to Thailand is complete without a visit to After You! Buttery soft toast cubes served with ice creams and fruits! The waiting times can be atrocious if you visit the central outlets, 😅 waiting times at Pattaya was ~15 minutes! #cptslowyeoxthailand
It was a really pleasant experience to chill and enjoy the company of my crazy friends!!
🏔
The alleviation of Pino Latte at Khao Kho (5 hours+ drive away from Bangkok) was sufficient enough for much cooler temperatures that was very chill and not humid at all! My ears popped a number of times on the ride up, so we were definitely decently high up in the mountain.
🏔
The rainbow cheesecake was pretty good, moist and not too sweet but for 195THB / $8SGD, it’s kinda pricey but for the view, totally worth it!!

If you’ve travelled to the US, you might’ve seen Panda Express, the American style economic rice. Chao sells food in a similar style, choose a base like sweet potato, ee fu noodles, rice , a meat, a side and a sauce for $6. It’s $3 per serving if you have burpple beyond!!
For the meat, I tried the kung pao chicken which wasn’t spicy. The chicken meat was breast meat. The ee fu noodles were springy but slightly bland, I think the idea is to drizzle the provided sauce onto the food to add flavour to the noodles. I tried the lemon sauce which was tad to sour for me.
The wasabi mayo fried chicken wasn’t crispy but it was at least better tasting than the kung pow chicken. Definitely going for that, the next time I’m ordering Chao. Service staff are friendly! There’s like 10 seats which are bar top style dinning. It’s really a hole in the wall shop, meant for takeaway. I like the concept!
Chob Cha Yen! Milky Thai iced tea goodness 30baht with strawberry popping boba 15 baht for added level of sweetness! So for less than $2, you get your ultimate dose of daily sugar intake!
🍓
The rose milk tea wasn’t too bad too, tasted closer to that of Bandung but still very refreshing!
