While I still prefer their mentaiyaki dumplings, these juicy pork dumplings with oozing melted cheese was so good too. Get both if you can! 😁

Having seen the Liu Sha donuts featuring on burpple so often, we just had to try it. Sugar crusted donuts with piping hot salted egg custard, it is as sinful as it sounds. Would have been better if there were more oozing Liu Sha!

Love the Asian inspired fusion rice bowls here. The rice bowl is packed with flavourful garlic and Chili chicken, caramelised onion, toasted cashew, grilled shimeji mushrooms, roasted cherry tomatoes and soft centered egg. I'm usually not such a big fan of rice but I actually finished the whole bowl! The chicken could have been slightly spicier (given the name), but otherwise a very satisfying rice bowl!

This humble little HK-style pastry shop opened in Toa Payoh Central a couple of months back and has been garnering long queues already. Probably one of the best Bolo buns that I have tried in Singapore! Personal favourites are the char Siew bolo bun and their egg tarts.

I love waffles from Stranger's Reunion, and the waffles here did not disappoint. Soft fluffy golden waffles with vanilla beans ice cream, drizzled with vanilla infused strawberry compote and granola. Yums.

Pulled pork was very flavourful but the sourdough bread was a little soggy, drenched under it. Poached eggs was done perfectly, runny and oozing as you dig into it. Overall, a decent dish.

A seemingly simple dish, but this pancake was the BOMB and is now officially my favourite Korean pancake! I love the crispy texture of the pancake that is not overly thick, and the oozing cheese in every bite.

Fusion at its best! I love risotto and this dish perfectly fuses risotto with Korean flavours. Generous with seafood (mussels, clams, prawns) and parmesan shavings, definitely a must try!

Decent Korean fried chicken with right crispness and sticky sweet. Perfect to go with drinks, here we had grape mojito, which tastes pretty good and refreshing.

Stumbled into this chic little coffee studio in Sunset Way. Loved the white brew, both iced and hot. Especially with the former, where it is served with espresso ice cubes, so that your coffee will not get diluted as the ice melts.

It's always great to have new food joints near the office! The woodfire thin-crust pizzas are great for sharing with colleagues, especially with the XXL pizza (good to share with 4 - 6 persons). You can also choose half and half of 2 different pizzas. We tried the Quartro Formaggi, Diavolo (Pepperoni), Prosciutto & Funghi, and Salmone, which were all very yummy and generous with toppings.

One of their specialty dish is Jya Jya Men - thick noodles with special miso and minced meat. They also have an interesting way of eating it - first on its own and then adding an egg and as well broth. Portion is small but just nice to be paired with their yummy gyozas.
