Pretty awesome Bak Kut Teh served here, though it could have more meat to make the dish even better! Ordered bak kut teh with mee sua ($8++). The soup does not have an overly strong peppery spice to it ππ» and their mee sua is really smooth and springy. Probably homemade. Do try their youtiao too please! (add beancurd if u want cause it's quite good too). It's addictive. Overall a nice meal if u want to spend a little more than at a food court/fast food joint. ($25 for two people)
Though the dish looks small, it has many chicken pieces with sweet curry paste and spices which would satisfy your hungry tummy! Prices are not cheap though. Butter chicken $8.50, Garlic Naan - 4 pieces $4, Ginger tea $1.80. Plus point: one of the few Air-conditioned eateries near Mustafa + final bill excludes 7% GST charge
Have always loved their half chicken with mushroom sauce($15.90++)! Delicious as always! The portion of chicken is big and the thickness and goodness of the sauce will fill your hungry tummy in no time! If you want to order their sides, I suggest sharing half a chicken and the other side dishes :-) If you have slightly more money to spend, do head down this place to satisfy your chicken craving! π
Awesome place for Korean BBQ all you meat lovers out there! The pork collar and beef are good ππ» always loved to eat them dipped in chilli paste and garlic on a juicy lettuce leaf. But dipping with onion sauce is pretty tasty too! Paid ard $87 for three people. Pretty reasonable for a bbq buffet dinner. Down side: getting really thirsty later at night π
Phad Thai at Nakhon Thai has one of the better tasting Phad Thais around! It's not dry and its sauce is pretty sweet. $5 nett of goodness. ππ»and it's quite filling too!
Located just beside Aqueen Hotel at Balestier, this Australian-style cafe boosts awesome food and coffee at nett prices! Ordered a chicken roulade ($20 nett), which is made of boneless chicken leg wrapped with bacon with stuffings of veg and sauceππ»Delicious and really filling! Friends ordered other dishes(eggs ben, fish and chips, stack-up dishes) on the menu which were equally good! Will drop by here again for their other dishes. ππ»
Paid $12.50 for double scoops with waffles! Not the cheapest around but it's really yummy! Strawberry lime Sorbet and Sea salt Gula Melaka ππ» Crispy waffles ππ» Non-peak hour crowd ππ» Went there on a weekday evening before dinner- at least we were able to find seats. The place is pretty small so if you want seats, go during non-peak hours!
Super cool place with a carnival theme! They even have one carousel looking seat corner! The dish above costs $12 with an extra scoop of ice cream. Their Gula Melaka is ππ» followed by their strawberry cheesecake flavour! V sweet but delist! Come on down for a unique wonderland experience! βΊοΈ
Located at pasarbella(suntec), this joint has a pretty wide variety of ingredients to choose to make your own salad. I like how each ingredient comes with a price tag, so you can control the amount you want to spend by varying the type of ingredients you put in. That being said, salads are expensive :-( spent $15.00 for the salad with chicken. Their toasted sweet potato is really good though. according to my food buddy who eats salads, for a salad joint, this place has really tasty meat, but portions are not as big as other salad eateries like Cedele or SaladStop (her favorite places). So if you want something new and work ard here, you can get this. Moreover, there's a one for one discount if you have Entertainer app :-) yay!
Yes that's right, the famous Bai Mee Fen at Sembawang has branched out and their selling their dishes to areas other than the North! Went to the branch at Punggol Settlement and the standard of the Bai Mee Fen is pretty good hereππ» for two, you'll be filled by ordering the dishes above in their small size. Their signature dishes include the salted eggyolk sotong $12 (it's really really good. Sotong a bit too chewy for my liking but I guess sotongs are like that) and their sambal potato leaves $8 (sauce is more toward sweet and spicy). Total damage ard $30. It'll definitely be slightly cheaper in the original coffee shop, but if it's near you, why not just head down to their air-conditioned branches instead? π
My fav yoghurt place! Delicious and better than llaollao! Their yogurts come in 8 various signature flavours and toppings. You can also choose to create your own mixture! This is their honey velvet creation, medium-sized at $6.80 but with NTUC card now you can get it at 10% off. They are generous with their portions too! Though it might be quite pricey, it's really worth a try! Share it with a friend! :-)
Don't belittle the size of this dish! At $16, it comes with a whole load of raw fish goodness which would definitely full you up to the brim! The fish comes in chunks with the sauce already mixed into the dish. The only thing is that you have to go get seats at the food court nearby as it allows only for take-away. Other than that, if u love jap and are really hungry, get this!ππ»
