All Things Jap
This place is awesome!! šš¼ love the ambience it provides. Most importantly, the food matches up to the ambience too! Had this sashimi bowl of goodness. Fresh and worth it. Topped it up with potato fries which were great as well! A great chill-out place after work in town area :) Highly Recommended!

Went to check this place out due to the reviews it got. However, it was quite disappointing for me. Maybe their signature dishes were their makis but it was out of stock after 2pm.
Dishes above are the salmon mentai don and pork katsu curry rice. The salmon mentai don costs $10. Portions are really small :( taste was average. The pork katsu curry rice costs $7. It tasted better than the salmon mentai- more worth the money.
Maybe the makis were better tasting and won't leave me feeling like this after a meal š
Finally got to taste this monster-sized curry dish š® We got the seafood $25++ combo curry that can be shared between two people- there's pork katsu, tempura, fried fish and pork shabu-shabu. Basically a v fried dish with curry (the amount of spiciness depends on how much of that red sauce thing they put. The curry itself is not spicy). I liked the fried fish :) overall, the dish was so-so. If you want quality, other jap restaurants(like saboten!) might be a better choice. If you are a hungry monster and need smth huge to fill, this would be good šš»Rating : 3/5
Don't belittle the size of this dish! At $16, it comes with a whole load of raw fish goodness which would definitely full you up to the brim! The fish comes in chunks with the sauce already mixed into the dish. The only thing is that you have to go get seats at the food court nearby as it allows only for take-away. Other than that, if u love jap and are really hungry, get this!šš»
Ordered Mazesoba with Braised Pork! Ramen comes with a bowl of soup and there are steps to teach you how you should eat their ramen! My dish was too salty, which I found a bummer, but I really enjoyed the texture of the ramen šš» paid $17.40(inc GST and svc charge) for it. I might give it another shot some other day.
Sushi all the wayyyyy!!! Those who love sushi turn your heads to genki sushi! The most worth from this place are these sushis I ate today š salmon Belly(fresh and nicely priced at $2.30) Spicy Salmon(for a less than average spicy eater like me, this is GOOD! $2.30 as well!) Chawamushi (generous portion with more ingredients than usual places! $2.30 too!) lobster salad (not a fan of lobster salad but I must say the meat was quite substantialšš¼ $2.80) do give it a try and hope you'll like it as well! š
This don is filled with all the goodness you can get! The seafood tastes amazing, esp the swordfish and scallop. šš¼ you get two of each kinds of seafood and it'll definitely fill you up even though the portion doesn't look that big! Do give their aburi salmon roll and dragon roll a a try too! Fresh and tasty. They're worth it! The Don costs $26.90 while the rolls are about $15.90. Do note that everyone needs to be present before you can get a table. A generally bustling atmosphere good for smaller groups (4-6pple)
