Coconut Lychee Cooler / Pineapple Orange Tango The Coconut Lychee Cooler falls short with an artificial-tasting coconut syrup that overpowers its homemade lychee juice and sparkling water. Meanwhile, the Pineapple Orange Tango is refreshing, perfectly balanced with pineapple juice, orange wedges and a fizzy ginger ale twist.

Chips de Canela Served warm, the crispy flour tortillas were coated in cinnamon sugar and paired with vanilla ice cream, chocolate hazelnut sauce, and fresh fruits. But sadly, the flavours didn’t quite come together. The tortilla was overwhelmingly dominant and despite all the toppings, I found it hard to taste much else and I ended up not finishing it 》$16

Arroz con Cerdo The smoked Peruvian yellow chilli rice is smooth and mildly spiced, packed with chorizo and edamame for added texture. The pork jowl is decadently rich and fatty, perfectly grilled, and finished with a glossy balsamic reduction that delivers a sweet, tangy punch. Cosy corner along Lorong Kilat Patronised c&c thanks to Burpple 1 for 1 beverages. Undeniably the cups are huge but not something I would pay full price for. Pictured above are the hojicha and matcha lattes at approx $8 each at regular price. However, it’s worth considering if you are looking for a place to hang out as it is really peaceful.

Ok, with 1-for-1 Ordered 1-for-1 brunch, Big Breakfast and Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Big Breakfast: expected it to be better for the price, the toast was kinda hard to cut, bacon was slightly over fried and hard, the egg mushrooms and sausage were okay Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict: this was good, but sadly they ran out of brioche bread and I had to top up $3 for croissant

Closed at 620pm Burpple states that it's open till 8pm but it was already closed around 6pm

Disappointing They no longer sell bagels but the burpple still says they do; travelled all the way down and was disappointed. Do take note if you plan to head down, they only do the box of six now.

Truffle Beef Bagel ($15.90) We got their truffle beef bagel ($12.90+$3) at the Burpple Food Street on Saturday! Lunch crowd had just rolled in and the wait for 2 bagels was more than 30 min 😓. We were also surprised by the size as it was much smaller compared to the ones given to our friend who had ordered earlier 🤷🏻‍♀️. The beef was cooked well, tender but bordering on chewy. Would give a pass on the truffle the next time as it wasn’t prominent (probably just truffle oil) and not worth the additional $3.

Truffle Mushroom & Creamy Crab Pasta Big portion, affordable but definitely not the best pasta I’ve ever had. Still a good place to go to for your pasta fix

creamy crab pasta upsized ($23.80) i thought they would give more sauce if you upsize the pasta (so that it’s proportionate) but it seems like they don’t because there was rly not enough sauce here :( there was also barely any crab meat and the sauce wasn’t creamy or flavourful so all i could taste was bland pasta and chilli flakes used a $25 voucher for this so thankfully it ended up being free but even so i was q disappointed w this meal ://

Prawn in Pink! Back at Tipo again! This time to try their prawn in pink ($17.90++)! Picked the linguine pasta for the meal! The linguine is made of chilli garlic, which is the perfect combi for this pink sauce! The pink sauce is a mixture of pomodoro and alfredo sauces! Mango sandwich 5.5nett So they use their signature bread for the sandwich. It's really quite unique, it's got some heft and works well in a thicker sandwich, and it has some bite as well. Almost has a cake like bounce, but seeing how it comes in their sandwich I'm not motivated to buy a full stack Mango today was v sour, this wasn't good at all

Custard bun 3.2nett It's really incredible. The same complaint about the type of bun, being too dense and creamy, would have preferred a fluffier type But the custard is godly. The perfect texture, between lightness and density, just very voluptuous. Flavour was absolutely amazing too and sweetness was perfect. Even the temperature was perfect, it's kept chilled and so having it right there, it was even better than when I took away. I inhaled this. We were supposed to share but I couldn't help but finish it and told my friend to get another one for herself Must try, dining in

3 Cheese w/ Honey- $3 Rly generous with the diff types of high quality cheese but couldn't taste any hint of honey tho. Bread is very soft & chewy👍🏻

Kulto cheesecake ($16) Gooey, oozy cheesecake with a thin bottom crumble layer. Savory, tangy, and nutty from the mix of different cheeses. Paired with refreshing tangy raspberry sorbet (wished there was more of this for better balance to cut through the richness). Have seen many comparing this to Olivia’s cheesecake but Olivia’s rendition remains the reigning champion for me, inching out in terms of complexity and refinement.

Crab croquette Crispy edges with creamy and spicy chili crab filling. If nitpicking, would have appreciated more crab meat.

Squid ink paella Savory and flavourful squid ink paella with strong umami notes. Texture of the rice was great with nice Socarrat from the edges. Also enjoyed the fresh and tender assortment of squid, clams, mussels, and fish. Would be keen to try their seafood paella next!
