Probably the only char kway tiao that has a heap of boiled vegetables on top! Not too oily, salty, sweet! With the fresh mustard vegetables on top, it makes this dish less sinful.

Opened by none other than Korean Comedian Shin Jung-Hwang. Located around 313 @ Somerset! As we went about 7pm, most of the dishes were already sold out for the day i.e. Churros, French Toast. Tried Yoghurt Bingsoo & Sea Salt Caramel Cake. I mega love the yoghurt bingsoo!!! It's not sour as I thought it would be and the milky iced shavings were so fine that it doesn't melt as fast as I thought so too! Sea salt caramel cake was too overpowering. Didn't really liked it.

Boufe is situated way out of Tanglin which does not really have any big crowds at night (I was there yesterday for Christmas!) it was really cozy like a little western house celebrating christmas! The food and service was prompt & not to mention, famous instagrammer pxdkitty is a staff there as well! This plate of prawn aglio olio blew our minds as the linguine was done al dente, the prawns were crunchy & the sauce had the tinge of white wine 😋

Plus points of this cafe is that it is kid-friendly! There's a little interactive corner where children are able to colour, draw. Also a little shop too! This cafe sells Thai & Western food which is relatively pleasant!

I honestly do not usually order Eggs Benedict nor do I actually order room service. Decided to try it this time round during staycation after Company's DND and I was quite satisfied with this! Muffins were soft, topped with ham, poached egg and hollandaise sauce. Alongside with crispy hashbrowns, grilled asparagus and tomatoes.

•$6• Hidden gem found at 3rd floor of Golden Shoe Market Food Place! The queue was growing steadily as lunch crowd started to come in. Pay for what you get. As they use only 1 teaspoon of White Truffle Oil, they complement by giving more meat to the bowl of wanton mee. The noodles were springy while the char siew slices were slightly charred, blackened and sweetened! Worth to try at least once! But I guess the Original would be more worth while! #Hawkerpedia #hiddengem

•$3• Bouncy bouncy smack smack I'm gonna have a heart attack 🙌🏻 Where can you find a decent bowl of noodles which is so cheap?! Do come early if you would want to try this as the fish balls & meat balls are handmade! Once sold, they'll close the shop. I've noticed they've sold out by 1.30pm! I've been so overwhelmed with work lately cuz it's the peak period for insurance companies!!! I get very drained out by lunch time and a good meal recharges my energy 😌 I can't wait for peak period to end by Dec!

Love chocolate and crunchy tarts? Then Laurent Bernard's chocolate tart is for you. If I remember correctly, this little tart here is about $8.80 but so worth the price. Other chocolate desserts like the famous Molten Lava Cake and Chocolate Soufflé is not to be missed! I'm craving for it again oh gosh the weight....

•$18• Original style cold noodles. I've honestly never had cold noodles jap style before and I don't really fancy them in any type of cuisine but this Tokusei Reimen from Yazawa is an exception. They gladly served us in 6 individual bowls! Noodles were springy, broth was cold like the way it should be and so flavorful with the taste of negi and fried shallots. Highly recommended to order when you do come by to Yazawa!

The only exotic meat that I'll eat! Melts in the mouth. Don't have to say much. Just get your ass here to taste the best tasting beef! Loving it with every bite 😋

This is easily the best Ipoh Hor Fun I've had in my life! Something different about this is that they used herbal broth as their gravy! Thin slurpy hor fun alongside with fried fish dumpling - crispy yet packed with loads of meat and chestnut in it! This actually brought me memories to when I've got my first full-time job! I was previously a contract staff and got converted to a permanent staff. The queue was long and we only had 30mins left into my lunch to finish up our food and get our butt back to work! Right now at my 3rd job, I'm nearer to Amoy Food Market but I've been busier here as it's the renewal season now. Which dish was eaten when you got your first job? ☺️ #hawkerpedia
