Spaghetti With Truffle Cream ($16) Spaghetti tossed with mushrooms and spinach in truffle infused cream sauce and finished with shaved grana Padano. A very creamy pasta dish which I enjoyed. Good amt of garlic and well seasoned. But I wished the truffle aroma could be stronger. Mushrooms were plentiful. I really enjoyed the spinach. A huge bowl that I could not finish, thou I really tried.

Arbite Breakfast ($15) This plate had pandan infused ngoh Hiang, soft boiled eggs, bacon, kaya and toast, pommes noisettes, mushrooms, salad and roasted tomatoes. A very huge portion. Eggs were too raw for me and bacon was not crispy. But salad looked fresh.

D A L E Really grateful and appreciated that we spend time from travelling frm east to west. Its kinda hard and out of the way for us tbh. I wanted to come with my friend for their dessert especially their cakes. Their cakes got one of the kind like unique shape not that usual cake size. We managed to squeeze out on time for weekend. Otto/ Madu Whenever we make the journey back to the West, @lees_confectionery has always been one of our fave go-to places for handmade artisan cakes and delicious coffee. Wanted to try the 𝙊𝙐𝙉𝙄💜, but as luck would have it, the last one went to the guy in front of us who ordered one of everything on the menu, so we had to give it a miss this time.. *laughcry* 😝🙃🙃 I wish I could explain the intricacies of every detailed work of art that's painstakingly plated and put together upon each order, but I'll let the photos, and your taste buds experience this for yourself! Teh Tarik Cream Puff With beautiful specks of tea, Baristart Coffee Singapore’s newest limited-edition Teh Tarik Cream Puff ($7) really delivered. Keeping to their crazy cream-to-puff ratio, the National Day special is available only till 31 August. The Ceylon tea-infused signature Hokkaido BIEI Jersey Milk custard was so fragrant, intense and lusciously smooth - perfect when paired with the thin crisp and crusty choux pastry. One for tea lovers, it also kinda resembles a good Thai tea cream - a complex blend of sweet and floral, with warm, earthy and nutty notes. 

Teh Tarik Cream Puff Teh Tarik Cream Puff ($7) is under limited edition for NDP seasonal menu and end under end of month. So the taste replication for teh tarik is so similar (creamy and milky). Its giving off local vibes for national day month.

Virgin Mojito The cocktail is worth the try but I’ve tasted better cocktails. They have this very strong taste of sour. This cocktail cost $7.90 before gst. Not the best but worth the try. If ure not a fan of cocktail, u can head over and try their milkshake.

Unicorn cheese stick This starter is absolutely a must t try and it’s not really worth the money but it’s definitely a must t try. The cheese is something different because there’s like a rainbow colour and it the cheese is really something different. This dish cost $9.90 before gst wasn’t really worth it cause there’s only 3 but it’s worth the try

Crab meat pasta This dish is something worth the try. Would rate this dish 9/10. Minus 1 because it claim to be a crab meat pasta but there’s no crab meat or any seafood in it. Its really a mind blown dish, they have this before taste like tomyum and after taste of a carbonara spaghetti. It’s definitely worth the try and money. This dish cost $16.90 before gst.

Stacked Bird Out of all the sandos at @thestacksg, the Pollo Avo Club was my favourite, just barely edging out the sublime K-Sando. As the name suggests, this sando is stacked with slices of smoked chicken & avocado, sumac onions and dressed adequately with a spicy aioli.⠀ ⠀ The tender chicken was lubed up well by the avocado, and each soft bite was well flavoured by the spicy, salty & satisfyingly creamy aioli. While the aioli is spicy enough to zing your palate, it’s restrained enough to avoid making you sweat. The sumac onions added that charming crunchy contrast to the soft textures of the avo, bread & chicken, but it did overpower the flavours of the chicken with its sourness by a fair bit. If the sourness were toned down a little, the Pollo Avo would be gucci. Still, even with overly sour onions, this was an incredibly delicious sando.

Eggcellence The other egg sandwich was considerably more…eggcellent. The K-Sando ($10+) is a vegan sando that contains eggs…eggplants, that is. The miso glazed eggplant is garnished with kimchi & kale, dressed lavishly in a gochujang aioli, and sandwiched between the same chewy buns as before. Despite lacking meat, the K-Sando felt surprisingly complete. The supremely savoury miso glazed eggplants are perfect, while the slightly spicy kimchi chipped in with an addictive sourness that gets the saliva going. The kimchi & kale combined to give a soul satisfying crunch to the otherwise soft sando, forming a complete balance of tastes & textures. If all eggplants were this good, it might just egg me into reevaluating my hatred for the purple thing.

Spam Them Eggs Tonight, I tell a tale of two egg sandos from @thestacksg. First is the Spam And Egg And Egg ($12 before additional GST), in which they really spammed the egg. A tremendously T H I C C slab of chicken luncheon meat is sauced up by egg salad, and is further, shall we say…EGGED on with the inclusion of a half boiled egg that retains a free-flowing yolk. Think Japanese 7-11 egg sandos, and you get the rough idea.⠀ ⠀ The buns were chewy, reminiscent of bagels, and I had to check that they weren’t actually bagels. The moderately saucy egg salad is notably tangy, which aids in restraining the richness of the mayo & the runny yolk from the boiled egg. However, the chicken spam fell flat, as it wasn’t charred enough to develop that coveted crust, and it wasn’t salty enough to unite all the elements. Also, the entire sando was just soft all throughout, resulting in a decent but one dimensional sandwich of monotonous flavours & textures.

Awful experience, no customer service whatsoever Very strange experience. I am told by the waitress if I want takeaway then I have to order at the counter. So I look at the menu and go to the counter and the waitress says she can’t take my order but needs someone else to do it. She knocks on two doors, a few minutes go by and then some lady joins us from hiding. She doesn’t apologise at all, seems angry and upset. So I tell them to have a nice evening and walk out. With prices like those they should afford to have staff who can take orders you would think. Stay away from this place if customer service is important to you.

The food is to die for Love everything about this cafe/bar. The ambience, the food, the drinks, it’s all amazing. The shakshouka and the waffles are probably the best ones I have tried in sg. It’s amazing and the portions are huge. Though pricey, I would say it’s worth it.

Taste worth trying The mains come in halves so it’s easy to share with a friend. The meat was tender and flavourful, and e toast was buttery and amazing on its own. Enjoyed the eggs benedict and the pork confit. Will definite come again with more people to try out more stuff!

Berry waffles Waffles thick and crispy. Berry yogurt flavoured ice cream not too sweet. Medley of flavours and textures with crunchy granola too

Yummy Cereal Pasta A pity that this is no longer in the menu, although they were nice to accommodate our request for it as they still had the ingredients. The cereal made the pasta really tasty, and the humongous prawn was impressive!

Cereal Prawn Pasta Came with a HUGE cereal prawn, there was a collective gasp at the table when the order arrived😂 The meat was succulent and great when eaten with the generous servings of cereal crumbs. The salted egg pasta itself was average, but at the price point, hardly much to quibble about.

Shabu Pork Rice Bowl With Mentaiko This was delicious! Generous portion of pork to rice ratio, very sauce drenched rice too.
