$28. The cod was flaky, tender and fresh. The best part of the dish apart from the cod was the black garlic. The excellent contrast between the tomato chickpeas and black garlic made for a visually stunning dish.
The earl grey did not emerge distinctly, but was rather overpowered by the apricot centre. Would have preferred a little more texture to the cake too - the tuile helped, admittedly, provide some crunch to the otherwise mousse-like texture of the entire cake.
A perennial favorite - the owner highlighted that no sugar was added in this dessert except a pinch in cooking the banana. The mousse went beautifully with the rum and shortbread. It was recommended that we eat the rum-filled chocolate on top first to coat our palate with rum, so that the chocolate flavor would emerge more intensely.
Part of the HungryGoWhere promo. Enjoyed the prawns - went excellently with the garlic anchovy sauce and squid ink.
$15. Absolutely delicious and decently priced too. Though simple, one of the best brunch dishes I've had. The highlight was definitely the mushrooms in the creamy umami sauce soaking the bread. Highly recommend!
$18. Photogenic but too sweet for my liking. The honeycomb ice cream and the caramelised cornflakes provided a nice crunch but the syrup and the sweet pancake was too much.
$18. Fall off the bone tender and juicy. Excellent!
$6 - egg was beautifully poached, loved the crunch of the dukkah. The saffron mayo was slightly out of place though. An enjoyable dish, but pricey for the portion.
Highly recommended. $28 - it came gorgeously presented and absolutely delicious. Scallops were fresh and went perfectly with the avocado and ikura. Best dish of the meal.
Decadent dessert, $7 for 3. Would have liked it better if the custard were more flowy, but taste was decent. A tad too much sugar on the outer covering though! But very photogenic.
$18. Healthy and colorful rice bowl; I liked how all the different components of the dish came together. Would be better if the egg were warm. But an enjoyable lunch nonetheless.
