Got the White Chrysanthemum with Cacao Nibs and Lychee with Raspberry Swirls. Added $1 to get the Thyme Cone.

I really enjoyed how the flavours were so unique. Definitely not flavours you can get elsewhere. Most of them were botanical related flavours, which caught my heart.

Don't ask me which of the 2 flavours I liked better. They were equally good. They were not overly sweet (ps: I seldom get fruit flavour ice cream because of the artificial taste and overly-sweetness) and they were mellow tasting in the mouth.

Most of the other ice cream shops I went to before were usually very milky/creamy and dense. Like it was very heavy, but BOP was not. It was smooth and refreshing. Liked how the thyme cone was not overpoweringly spiced, but gave the cone a good taste.

However, the cone turned soggy pretty fast. So, it lacked the crunch at some point. I didn't like how they used wooden spoon, because it somewhat affected the taste of the ice cream when put into the mouth. Like you taste a wood taste?

But overall, great taste! Would revisit for sure!

Went to patronise this shop for the first time since many people raved and recommended this place.

As someone who loves xiao long baos myself, I had high expectations for this. But I was greatly disappointed.

This xiao long bao (aka soup dumplings) had nearly no soup inside. It didn't make any sense. It was just meat and air on the inside.

The meat didn't taste spectacular either.

The long queue was not worth it to be honest.

Would try it some other day again, because I would like to give it a benefit of doubt that the day I went was just a bad day.

First visit, but definitely won't be my last.

Went during lunch hours, and ordered the Yakitori Bento Set B which consists of Asparagus Maki, Negima, Tsukune, Garlic Pork and Shiitake.

My friend and I were initially skeptical of the taste because of how it was prepared. But trust me when we both agreed that it is good.

Truly enjoyed the yakitori. They all tasted good. Only disappointment was the garlic pork as it was too tough. The best in my opinion was the Tsukune and Negima.

The vegetables at the side were pretty average (exactly what you would expect out of vegetables). Miso soup was average too.

The rice was quite mind-blowing. It came with minced meat on the top, seaweed and mushroom. The minced meat was so flavourful that it complimented the rice so well. Tasted kinda like Taiwan's braised pork rice (卤肉饭).

It is affordable as it costed $15.50. The price is worth it. Would definitely revisit again to try the other side dishes!

Ordered the 12 pieces chicken. Comes in 2 flavour which we choose - Original (Salted) and Basil & Cheese.

This is the second time we are eating this. The first time we ordered the Original flavour and the Katsu Ume flavour.

Slightly disappointed that the quality of the chicken was not as great as compared to the first time we went. It was more tender and juicy previously. Not sure if it was because the batch that we got came in with more fats as compared to lean meat.

Personally I enjoy the Original flavour a lot. My friend was a great fan of the Katsu Ume flavour. Basil & Cheese was disappointing as it was not what we expected. If you are a great fan of cheese, I would not recommend this as you can't really taste the cheese. It is a rather light tasting, herby sauce. Not my kind of thing.

However, we still enjoy the 16 grain rice a lot. It was very flavourful and had a great texture to it!

Overall, I would say that it is one of the better chicken karaage I have eaten. I enjoyed how the chicken remained fresh and cripsy throughout. It was not greasy at all. I would like to think that it was just a bad timing when we came during the second round.

I would definitely still recommend it, and personally I would revisit to try other flavours. Hopefully, I would not be disappointed again.

We ordered a plate of steamed dumplings (8 pcs) and a bowl of Kombu Shiitake Soup. We really enjoyed how the dumplings were prepared. There were a variety of vegetables diced into small pieces, yet it retains the crunchiness of it. The dumplings did not turn dry despite leaving it out for long as the dumplings soaked in a sauce (probably soya sauce + sesame oil?) which enhanced the taste of the dumplings.

The soup came with kombu, shiitake, carrots, tofu, and cherry tomatoes. I enjoyed how the soup gave a clean and healthy taste, but was a little too salty for my liking. But my friend enjoyed it a lot so I guess it's up the individual?

Would definitely revisit to try their other items! They have lots of other interesting snacks, burgers and pasta!

Orginally supoosed to be baked brown rice, but we changed it to quinoa by adding $3. The taste is great! It was cheesy, and surprisingly tasted like pizza! 😂 good size for sharing as well. The only slight disappointment was how the quinoa was a little mushy. Either they added too much water, or the quinoa was cooked for too long.

First time trying Mala Xiang Guo because I don't take spicy food and I cannot stand oily food. Went for xiao la and zhong la from Ri Ri Hong Ma La Xiang Guo. I would say that it is worth the try for people like me who cannot take spicy food at all. It was not numbing at all, but you still feel that slight heat to it. To be fair, it isn't super oily, but personally I don't fancy oily food so a little bit of oil would have been gerlak for me.
Also ordered some other sides like dumplings, wanton mee, roasted meat, etc. I honestly cannot remember how they tasted like as my belly exploded from just eating the mala alone.
Oh yea, also purchased Bunnies Bread which was nearby! Got peanut, red bean, garlic and curry. Gave the peanut away to another friend. The garlic was a little disappointing as it was not strong in its garlic taste. The curry one tasted a little sweet (not to my liking). However you can never go wrong with red bean :D will try the other flavours again next time!

Ordered the Red Bean Soup with Lotus Seed for myself. Great fan of traditional desserts. Would not say that the desserts of this shop is the best, but decent enough to satisfy cravings when needed to.

Ordered Burmese Shan Tofu, along with another side that has quinoa in it. It came along with sides romaine lettuce and baby tomatoes. It was average tasting. Certainly not the best, but it was quite affordable as it costed less than $10. But unlikely will be eating it again. Didn't enjoy how the romaine had a weird taste to it.
Ordered a Matcha Tahini cake slice along with our meal. It was light tasting, and had a sponge cake like texture. Super fluffy. It was not to my liking because I would have preferred my cake to have a stronger matcha taste, and if possible, dense, as it would add more bite to it. Not a bad cake though, suits those who do not enjoy a strong matcha taste in their cakes (practically could not taste any matcha-ness in it)
However, would definitely revisit to try other items on their menu!

Finally had the chance to head down to the long desired Grids & Circles after such a long time to try out their highly raved dishes! Definitely had to try what they are famous for - Tamago Sando and their Salmon Ochazuke bowl. Must say that it is one of the best cafe meal I have ever had. Their Tamgo Sando was warm, light and fluffy. They were every generous with the portion of the tamago, which was thick and fluffy. Their bread, in my opinion, was average, but it was the pear sauce and konbu mayo that made the dish stood out. It tasted a little buttery as well, but overall it was a egg-cellent meal! The chips and greens which were paired along with the sandwich was ordinary? Exactly what you would expect from chips and greens. But their Tamago Sando definitely made everything worth it!
Moving on is the Salmon Ochazuke. My gosh my gosh! As someone who rarely eats rice, I was initially reluctant to try this dish. I mean, how special can it be? I had tons of rice bowls before, and seriously, they were NOTHING like this bowl of Salmon Ochazuke. It may initally turn some people off with the idea of pouring tea into rice? But this tea is nothing you would expect. It isn't light tasting, neither did it taste very greeny. I guess it's because they used bacon dashi green tea, which added a note of savouriness into the dish. The rice was mixed with tiny ikan bilis in it, and when u poured in the tea, mixed everything together, BAM! THE UNAMI GAME WAS STRONG! The salmon tasted fresh and was not overcooked (which may result in toughness in the meat). My friend enjoyed how the salmon skin remained crispy even after the tea was poured in. Talk about cooking skills. Every mouthful you could literally taste the flavour of the sea , and I am not even kidding. Before you know it everything would be cleared off the plate. The portion was just nice not to cause you to bloat, but enough to make you feel satisfied.
On the side note, we purchased a cup of matcha latte which was disappointing. It didn't have a strong matcha taste. My friend and I both agreed that we were literally just drinking milk.
My friend also went to purchase their Earl Grey and Matcha Macaroons (I don't fancy them too much in general) and told me it tasted good, with a rich tea taste. But for me, nah.
To sum it up, I would definitely revisit to get back the same dishes I had. Would probably opt for tea options the next time round :D
