But a tad expensive. This plate cost me $7.20, just a standard size. But the parcook 70% chicken is fried on the spot and was tender. Rice was fragrant and soft too. Chilli however was not spicy at all. I was expecting explosion but got a small fart instead. But overall is nice lah.

Koung's noodles are pretty authentic in taste and pretty close to what I tasted when I was young. Parking is always a problem there so will pop by whenever I have time to wait.

Having something low in carbs and was contemplating chicken rice without rice and sauce. Reckon that'll be too miserable. So just had this for only $5. This is an item already on the menu and very low carb friendly. But self-service even though you're seated right in front of the stall and no one else after you. They make the ingredients themselves so it's nice.

First time trying this brand of noodles. Very interesting cos it's a hybrid between sliced fish soup, fish balls and some fried ngor hiang thingy. Batang fish slices were fresh, fish balls were springy and the ngoh hiang thing is made from fish so there were some small bones with every bite. I chose this signature option for $5 cos has a bit of everything and you can opt for rice or noodles.
Pic 2. The noodles were cooked to past springy and before soggy (go figure that out haha) and was coated with loads of sauce. A bit over ketchup though.
Pic 3. Key is in the chilli sauce. Homemade and very tasty. If less ketchup would be good cos the flavours of the chilli sauce should stand out and impress the customers. And more lard please!
