- Weakest matcha flavour ever
- Strong nutty flavour from the macadamia drizzle
- BUT the nuttiness is like an unsatisfying pistachio flavour
Their roast duck was quite delicious while their roast pork is a must try, with its wonderfully crispy skin! I loved their spring onion sauce - it's a lovely reminder of Hong Kong 🥰 I requested for more spring onion and less oil, and they were so sweet to actually drain the oil for me!
Paid $3 extra for the duck breast which I felt was very worthwhile because the regular cut is like half bones, with not much meat 😅
Used to really like this. Unfortunately the bowl has changed since then - the truffle scrambled eggs are now just regular scrambled eggs. They no longer use alchemy rice. The broccoli pieces taste raw and are too crunchy. Luncheon meat was pretty standard. The only saving grace was the scrambled eggs - well-seasoned and smooth, ribbon-like instead of curds.
Btw we chose to takeaway this and regretted it. We had to pay $1 extra per bowl for takeaway - we used Burpple and had to pay $2 extra for 1 deal. If we had known, we wouldn't have utilised this deal tbh. Give this a miss - food court is probably cheaper.
The crispy kakiage was delish! But if you hate green capsicum or onions, you shouldn't get this LOL. Also loved the tempura pumpkin, cooked perfectly on the inside.
Rmb to take the small black bowl of tempura sauce when you collect your food!

Udon was nicely QQ and the beef slices were tender with a good amount of fat. The broth was sweet and savoury - it can be too salty for some if you choose to down the whole bowl of soup 🤣

The star of this big bowl of noods is their house XO sauce that's sweet and robust - if you love the flavours of dried shrimp, this bowl is perfect for you! The handmade noodles may look like udon but the texture is closer to ban mian - QQ texture and quite unique!

These were well-seasoned crispy goodness - the chicken meat was tender on the inside. While the batter was crispy, the shrimp paste wasn't crazy intense so it's defo enjoyable for all!

Tastes mostly like strawberry milk, with a subtle taste of matcha that isn't detectable at the bottom half of the drink... I got 0% sugar and tbh it was a good level of sweetness alrdy.
