took a while to find the place as itโs located on the second floor. when we went in the vibes and ambience created a very comfortable space for our dining. for our main course, we had the pork and beef which were very tender and cooked to our liking! the salad and dessert rounded up the meal perfectly too.
We chanced upon this porridge place and found out that it is actually also a zi char place, except it serves sweet potato porridge to go with your dishes (rice is an option as well). You would also be happy to find out the rice/porridge are free flow!
There was a variety of different dishes to choose from, ranging from vegetables/tofu, fish, prawns, sotong to rice/noodles and soup. Feel free to take your pick as all the dishes we ordered were of good zi char standard. Will recommend friends & family!
nice and cosy restaurant situated in the CBD area, which makes it perfect for dinners and weekdays!
we liked the baby squid and the tiramisu. did not manage to try all the mains but itโs good too!
One prawn & co is the ultimate food heaven for seafood lovers! being one myself, I liked the selection of dishes available.
We ordered a few dishes across the Bites, Smalls & Hearth categories and 1 dessert to end the night. Note that some items that we wanted to try were unavailable when ordering. Nevertheless, we had some of the best grilled dishes - prawns, octopus, salmon. Seated on the counter seats, we were able to watch the preparation of the food by the chefs.
Overall, recommended and we would be keen to be back to try the other prawns dishes etc.
We dropped by Paradise Pizza, which is nestled in a peaceful area around holland village, and had an appetizer, pizza, pasta and dessert.
The pizza was like a carbonara on pizza, interesting but delicious. Burrata was amazing. The tiramisu also ended our night on high! Overall, we enjoyed all the food served, and the ambience made us comfortable. The servers were nice and friendly as well.
We dropped by on a weekday evening and ordered the seafood pao fan, prawn mee, a tasting platter for the ngoh hiang and a drink.
We both liked the pao fan the most, as the portion was big and the claypot kept the soup consistently hot. Ingredients were generous too. Ngoh Hiang was also delicious and paired well with the rice.
Ingleside offers set menus for lunch and dinner, so we came during lunch on a weekday which was cosy and quiet. We had both the chicken (replacing duck) leg and wagyu for our mains, accompanied by the mushroom and asparagus entree. The restaurant also offers bread before the entree, paired with their in-house miso butter.
All the food from start to end was delicious and the staff kindly explained each dish before serving, and took care of us throughout. Great experience overall!
This restaurant is truly a must go if you are a herbal soup lover! We dropped by during dinner on a weekday and it was packed.
We had both chicken soups, tofu and prawn rolls for sides paired with fragrant yam rice and drinks. We really enjoyed the soup and the chicken portion was huge too. Overall, the soup, dishes and service were good. We will come back for more!
The food and service at Hiryu was amazing and we enjoyed watching the chefs prepare our sushi in front of us.
We were first served chawanmushi, followed by sushi, don and a dessert. I liked the don, which consisted of wagyu beef, foie gras and uni - everything complemented each other well.
We recently visited Guntherโs on a weekday evening for dinner, and we really loved the food. The ambience, service and quality of food made the entire dining experience enjoyable.
First, we were welcomed with warm bread and butter - simple yet so delicious we asked for more! The cold truffle pasta with caviar and king crab leg with tomato rice were eye opening for both us and our tastebuds, highly recommended!
Desserts also did not disappoint and our tummies were extremely pleased when we left. Weโll be back!
