It's true! The Latin American food that TONITO's Latin American Kitchen serves up is like sunrise on the darkest day - it's comfort food at its best while also offering most of us a taste of something new.
Indeed you can take your tastebuds on a gastronomic journey to places like Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Cuba and Venezuela when you dine at TONITO's โ๐ Such is the diversity of the Latin American cuisine which they heartily serve up!
From Mexican favourites like tacos and quesadillas to Peruvian anticuchos, Latino sandwiches like the Venezulean "Pepito" and other exotic regional delights, you'll definitely be spoilt for choice over what to order here! ๐ .
To that end, I highly recommend getting their Beef Quesadillas ๐ฎ ($14) which comprises crispy flour tortillas stuffed with beef, chimichurri, avocado, beans, coriander mayo and a generous serving of cheese! ๐ง I love how well put together these quesadillas were; they were just so easy to eat and didn't fall apart at all when we picked them up! And that melted cheese? It was everything!!! ๐คค .
Dining at TONITO's also affords you a great unfettered view of the majestic Rain Vortex, the seven-storey high indoor waterfall that has been popping up on everyone's IG feeds! ๐ธ .
So come on down to the gorgeous oasis that is TONITO, sit at their cosy terrace and tuck into some delightful Latin American nosh while admiring the picturesque views all around you! ๐คฉ .
P.S. If you're heading over there for dinner, you can catch the Rain Vortex light show happening at 7.30pm, 8.30pm or 9.30pm right from your very seat! ๐ค . .

If you thought that these were real fruits on a stick, look carefully again! ๐ These are actually ice cream which are shaped to resemble real fruits while also bearing the flavours of these fruits! So cool right?! Cool to take photos of and also a cool, refreshing treat to have on a hot day! โ๏ธ .
The ice cream initially came with a layer of ice crystals on them and I suspected that they might have an icy composition โ It was to my pleasant surprise then that the Corn ice cream which I had wasn't icy in the least bit. In fact, it was really creamy and had a smooth texture. So yummy! ๐ .
Besides Mango and Corn ๐ฝ, these sweet treats are also available in Durian, Coconut ๐ฅฅ, Pineapple ๐, Orange ๐ and Tamarind flavours! Which one would you be most interested to try? ๐
What is Panang curry you might ask? Well, it's actually a type of Thai red curry that boasts a nutty peanut flavour ๐ฅ in addition to being thick, savoury, spicy and sweet. Sounds aroi mak mak right?! ๐คค .
Over here, the Panang curry sauce is generously drizzled over not one but TWO succulent homemade beef patties which along with cheese ๐ง and fresh veggies like tomatoes, lettuce and onions is sandwiched between two jet-black buns - we were given a choice between a black sesame bun and a regular bun, and of course we chose the black buns cos black is bae! ๐ค .
Every time we sank our teeth into it, we came away with a juicy mouthful of meat that was made all the more flavourful by the delicious Panang curry sauce. You must definitely prepare to get your hands dirty with this one! ๐ .
Oh, and a huge shoutout also for Chef Pond's homemade savoury banana chips ๐ which were served alongside the burger. Such an ingenious idea to serve these Thai style chips together with the Thai-Western fusion burger ๐ก .
The fried banana chips were so thinly-sliced that it almost felt like I was lifting a feather whenever I picked one up. Their crispness was also off the charts! ๐ Though they didn't really taste like bananas, I honestly didn't mind as I loved the textural contrast between these crispy chips and the juicy burger! ๐ฏ .
Besides this Panang Red Curry Beef Burger, @bellyphantsg is also serving up a Thai Green Curry Chicken Burger and other Thai delights at the Thai Festival which runs until 18th May at the Royal Thai Embassy from 11am to 9pm daily! ๐น๐ญ .
Even if you don't manage to make it down this weekend, you don't need to have a FOMO cos you can find Bellyphant at their stall in FOMO (yep, that's the actual name of a hipster foodcourt in Bugis haha!) ๐คฃ

That's right! You no longer have to lug back packets of these popular Taiwanese sundried noodles from Taiwan because Ju Hao is the first in Singapore to serve up these noodles at all their outlets which will also double up as retail spaces where you can purchased selected DaJia products ๐ .
What's special about DaJia noodles is that they are sundried under low temperatures and contain no added salt, oil nor preservatives unlike other instant noodles that are loaded with preservatives and deep-fried in oil. In addition to being healthy and nutritious, these noodles also have a full and springy texture! QQ max! ๐ .
At Ju Hao, you have 4 types of DaJia noodles to choose from - waves, slices, handmade andย hand-shaped thin noodles - and you can pair them with DaJia's delicious sauces such as shallot, sesame or mala which are also made from natural, high-quality ingredients ๐ฏ. You are also able to customise the texture of your noodles (from soft to al-dente), the flavour (from light to heavy) as well as the amount of oil. I haven't come across any Chinese restaurants that lets you to customise your noodles to this extent and I'm very glad that this is possible at Ju Hao! ๐ .
The next step then will be to choose what noodle dish you want! Feel like having something spicy? Why not go for their Noodles with ๅฃๆฐด้ธก (Saliva Chicken) and have it with their numbing Mala sauce. Or maybe you want something homely and comforting? Then try out their Noodles with Wanton which will evoke memories of home ๐ .
So what say you to hopping on over to Ju Hao and customising your very own bowl of DaJia noodles? ๐ . .

Loving the Patatas Bravas from The Winery so much that it makes me wanna shout "BRAVA!" ๐ .
Patatas bravas is one of my go-to orders whenever I'm having Spanish tapas and I'm absolutely in love with this one from The Winery which features crispy layered Agria potatoes ๐ฅ topped with dual orbs of their signature spicy tomato sauce & parsley aioli.
The potatoes were fried to a glorious golden crisp on the outside while retaining a soft interior and the fragrant sauces really complemented the taste of the spuds. Brava!!! ๐ฃ
Featuring the Royal Chocolate Truffle Cake ๐๐ซ๐ฐ ($6.50) from Jewel Coffee Personally I wouldn't regard this as cake royalty. Nevertheless, it was good enough to satisfy my chocolate craving ๐
Did you think I was referring to Jewel? ๐ Nope, I'm talking about Terminal M, the first halal multi-concept gourmet food hall in Singapore Changi Airport where you can enjoy a variety of MUIS halal-certified Korean, Japanese and Chinese food from familiar MOF brands that are now halal ๐ .
Craving some authentic Korean food? Check out Cafรฉ Papa and have the classic Dosirak ($10.90) or the Budae Jiggae Specialty Myeon ๐ฅ ($10.90) There's also Hanssik with its Beef Bulgogi Hotpot ($33.80) which is perfect for sharing with a group of kakis ๐ .
If you're feeling up for some Chinese food, give Yu Long Quan's 6-in-1 Chicken Dumpling ๐ฅ ($13) which features unique Singaporean flavours a go! ๐ .
Or maybe you wanna tuck into some Japanese nosh? Well, then the sashimi bowls and tendons from Kaisen-ya and Ten-ya will be your best bet to satisfy your desire for some freshly sliced sashimi or golden-brown tempura! Feeling hungry yet? ๐ .
In conjunction with Ramadan, Terminal M has also launched a series of special bento sets for both dine-in and takeaway! Diners can choose from a wide variety of delectable items such as Kimchi Fried Rice ($12.80), Spicy Chicken Value Set ($15), Beef Bulgogi Value Set ($17) and more! I would recommend getting the Value Set as they come with your choice of protein as well as fried sweet potatoes, japchae (glass noodles), kimchi and rice. They're great choices for families and friends to break fast together! ๐ .
Other than the food, I'm really impressed by Terminal M's commitment to the aviation theme in terms of its interior design ๐ซ There are booth seats which resemble first class cabins and vintage suitcases sprawled across the entirety of one wall. Ordering is done via a self-ordering kiosk and you can check when your order is ready by looking at the "flight" information board. Totally on point! ๐ฏ .
Anyway, stay tuned for more reviews of the dishes which I tried at Terminal M ๐ค .

Love that this cake came with some pretty lavender flowers ๐ธ studded in the buttercream swirls on the top of the cake ๐ .
Props also to the folks at @ohmy_cafe for beautifully decorating our plate with chocolate syrup! ๐
Give it a good mix before drinking as there are sediments of matcha powder at the bottom. A decent cup of iced matcha.
Sumptuous brunch @prodigalcafe ๐

Featuring the Coconut Hot Chocolate ๐ฅฅโ ($5.50) from Group Therapy Coffee which is an aromatic blend of dark chocolate and organic coconut oil topped with a layer of frothed milk ๐
