Perfectly located beside onw of the Novena MRT Exit, here are some of my recommendations if you ever visit Nanta BBQ:
1. Cheese Soonsal Chicken
2. Cheese Denggalbi [set B]
3. Rappoki
4. GRAPEFRUIT SOJU!!! 😍

If you're in a smaller group, I'd suggest dump the 2nd point cos yess, their chicken is THAT good! Chicken was perfectly seasoned and not deep fried, and idk how they season it, but it goes very well with the cheese..! When you're about to finish, don't forget to scrape the almost-burnt cheese from the pan! They're amazingly good. .
Nvr knew that grapefruit soju is sssoo gud!! It's super easy to drink and perfect to chase that 'jelat' feeling away - like a refreshing flush button. [Ok, that's not a v good example, but u get the idea. 😂]

I think everyone knows how Ya Kun serves one of the [if not the] best kaya toast around, but for those who don't, lemme try to describe why.

So you get this perfectly crispy toast with generous amount of not-too-sweet coconut spread and A THICK SLICE OF COLD BUTTER for every cut. Not disgustingly thick kind of thick, more like so-satisfying-you-can-actually-taste-the-butter thick. ❤

I love how chewy their noodle was and everything that's in dat bowl. The black bean sauce, onions, minced meat, potato cubes, even them sliced cucumber!

Also,i like how they separate the sweet-sour sauce and pork - makes the pork stays crispy - and that the sauce itself was not overwhelmingly sour!

Was browsing through @burpple for sth good around the area and stumbled upon this place. Decided to give it a try and maaann! Twas a great decision. We ordered a few thing but here are my 3 pics should you decide to give it a go: Kaya Toast, Sugar Donut, and Char Xiu Wanton Noodle.

Kaya Toast: was soft and fluffy breas with a slight crispy outer part. I love how their kaya spread is not overly sweet, and the butter was really does well in enhancing the overall taste! .
Sweet [sugar] Donut: Just a simple freshly-made old-school fluffy sugar donut yet weirdly satisfying..!
.
Char Xiu Wanton Noodle: This one's the highlight! I wasn't expecting much when I ordered this, but seriously this is a MUST TRY. Honestly the wanton and noodle was ok, but their charsiew!!! They're so tender and sssooo fragrant! So good i treasure each slice! Haha!

Stumbled upon this the other day and i thought it looked interesting. Well it tasted pretty ok, slightly crispy outside, nice n chewy inside with sweet redbean filling. But honestly, that's all there is. nothing's particularly special. Literally pan-grilled redbean mochi. 😅

So, apparently Food Opera at @ion_orchard have a [relatively] new western food stall, and yes, they're pretty good in what they do. .
Ordered the char-grilled chicken chop and maan, i must say I'm impressed. Looooveeed the aroma, the mushroom sauce, crispy fat-fries, soft bun, and just look at dat onion 😍. Well, to find this in a food court when most of the 'western-food' stalls are selling pan-grilled nowadays, is pretty satisfying.

It also help that their staff are friendly, and kindly mentioning that they are new and hoping we enjoy the food [in a way]. So yah, do check 'em out! [paiseh i forget the stall name, but i got the stall no covered! ☟] ps. It's near Lam's salt baked chicken and Riverside [indonesian bbq] stall.

This kind of food is seriously the best remedy for stuffed nose and fatigue, right before bed [not so when it comes with inflammed throat and cough tho] Hot, spicy, soupy, and filling without being mushy with lotsa things throwed in. We got it as part of the set, it's so gud we ended up adding more 라면 and 떡볶이 ❤. This one's served with a mix of pork, beef, and chicken.😊
