Soft arcs of pasta and chunky diced lobster meat swimming in a rich, slightly smoky lobster bisque, blanketed with a thick layer of gooey mozzarella. Managed to snag this $12 deal on its last day of promotion and I can safely say it's worth coming back for when it'll be on the permanent menu come Monday onwards, at $18.

D.O.C certainly has an edge over the rest by nailing both the sweet and the savoury buttermilk waffle. The savoury sun-dried tomato and herb waffle with bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs and maple bacon jam is a perfect choice for breakfast. The sweet version comes with caramelized rum bananas and vanilla bean ice cream, and has won over many dessert-lovers hearts. Why not try both next time you head down? Photo by Eleanor Tay.

Already known for their great brunch items, such as their Flan (which you should get before these waffles), Symmetry also nails the waffle. At $14, bananas, strawberries, peanut butter, hazelnut chocolate, maple syrup and vanilla ice cream sit atop crispy, fluffy waffles. Get an extra scoop of blueberry ice cream for a near-perfect dish! If you're approaching French Toast as a dessert, this one will satisfy you. Served as 2 slices of brioche stuffed with bananas and drenched in maple syrup, vanilla yoghurt and blueberries, this is sweet and decadent without being too heavy. The texture and portion is perfect, definitely a must order! Photo by Gavin Chan.

This brand new cafe along Evans Road highly recommends their salted caramel waffles, which are light, fluffy and tasty. The coffee here is decent too. Needless to say, this cafe will please the Bukit Timah folks! Photo by Alain Foodology.

These stuffed French toast with berries and mascarpone is a sweet treat coated in cornflakes and doused in chocolate sauce. At $18 it is rather pricey, but it is a great option when at MBS, and makes up for it in decadence. Photo by Daniel Food Diary.

Bacon Mac & Cheese is a must try/have item when you're at The Beast! Shoutout to big fans of Mac&Cheese! You may consider asking for more cheese as it was offered at a decent amount that won't satisfy you. Other than that, all is good!👍

👍👍👍 however, the Tonkatsu was a bit dry, but overall great ambience.

Have you tasted their most recent refreshed menu yet @ Aliwal St?

A spacious cafe. Casual and good for groups. My friend enjoyed her Tuna Loin. But I didn't enjoy my Salted Egg Crab Pasta though it came highly raved on reviews. I guess taste is really subjective and upon preference.

A for Arbite serves one of the most amazing starters you can taste in town and it brings you flavors from home away from home.

So here's one of the Peranakan dips which called 'Buah Keluak' dips with chili salt to go along with Steakhouse fries!

This is something you should not miss!

I'm a breakfast type of guy. Don't get me wrong. I just enjoy eating French Toast, and Breakfast is my kind of thing.
