Bowl of sweet and warm goodness! Had the sesame paste, beancurd with gingko and walnut paste, all $3.50!! It was air-conditioned and had many seats. We requested for extremely warm bowl of dessert but wasn’t that hot but still a good place to go to, to chill after lunch
Have not had Ajisen in a really long time and saw that they have different types of flavour! Tried the garlic soup based Shabu Ramen but I think the usual soup bases still taste better. Had the white fish and chicken karaage as sides. Found it overall okay but nothing new.
Finally tried this! Took me a while amidst the hype regarding this cool concept. Anyway, was intrigued by the sauces eg salted egg, curry mayo, cheese etc but so disappointed by the food? 😢 Fish tasted decent but the chips were soggy when it claimed to be made on the spot? We topped up mushroom soup and drink for $4 but the soup was in a paper cup and tasted like those cheap canned ones. Would definitely not pay $21 for this :/( Maybe the one at punggol is better cause there’s the vibes but i’m just not too sure about this one
Spread was rather decent and specially loved the OG teh tarik as they made it on the spot and tasted really legit!!! Would say the breakfast is reasonable for the price but I would personally prefer to go out of the hotel to try other cheaper and good food!
Breakfast is from 6:30-10:30am!!
Nakhon still the place to go to for cheap and good thai food thought the one at Toa Payoh is a tough competitor! Loved the spiciness and sour mix from the tomyum soup, leaving one craving for more and the generous amount of peanut on the Pad Thai!
Bowl of goodness! Could smell the laksa the moment we entered so we had to try it! But we thought the taste was not as rich as compared to the Penang Laksa at Aljunied
Atas ice cream!! Always wanted to try this when I was in Hong Kong but it was $11? so i didn’t but succumbed to it in JB cause cheaper hehe. Love the cookie dough flavour but the oreo marshmellow didn’t really taste like much tbh
At Paradigm Mall! Loved the noods though it has the msg taste HAHAHHA. apparently its the kolo mee taste but i haven’t tried so I’m not very sure. I ate the seafood broth one and the soup was refreshing and portion was quite huge. My bf tried the one with pork broth and it tasted like an atas version of bachormee ahahhahaha
Located at one of the stalls along Mount Austin! Really cheap and tasty, highly recommend the mantou though i wished there was the plain one. Was rather crowded with teens too when we swung by the place at night. Food was decent and really cheap!!!! Loklok is only available after 7pm though, they only have bubble tea before that timing. Also, you can choose to have your loklok fried or boiled and a few dipping sauces to choose from!
Ordered the moonlight horfun and coffee pork ribs!!!! ($15) LOVED both of them :’) the moonlight noods were slightly towards the oily side but was rly fragrant and coffee pork ribs were slightly towards the expensive side for the portion but it was rly crispy and marinated well!
Jap food atw recently :’) HAHAHHA anyway had jap again and the small bowl was $10.80 but the upsized one $14.80++) The california maki was decent too, we ordered spicy salmon maki but the portion of it was so small we were lowkey disappointed.
The portion was large and love how the rice included those cripsy rice bits!!!
