Love every single bite of this dish! Potatoes and chicken are well-cooked & rich in flavor, with the sous vide egg adding extra texture to the whole dish π the only downside is the raw cherry tomatoes (which I don't like to eat!). If you are like me, turns out you can switch them with edamame π generous portion, affordable price, what's not to like? The owner was very friendly too.
As usual,.my lunchmate @j._lin cant wait to tuck in
Never thought of the combination of mantou and ice cream! We like it that it's crispy and provide an interesting balance in-between the hot mantou and cold ice cream. Will definitely recommend the ice cream flavor Roasted Rice Milk Tea!
Definitely the best I've ever had. π

Ssso good, sssoo flavourful, and that pan-fried calamari.. ππ on point! If I am to come back it'll be for the paella..! Quite surprised that no one was q-ing for this and went for the RostΓ― instead.

At $5, the amount of ingredients given here could be overly crazy (but I like). You can have my words when I say one can easily find over 10 ingredients in their Signature bowl ($5/$8) - expect surf to turf varieties from prawns, quail egg, fried meatball, boiled meatball, sliced abalone, sliced pork, minced pork, pork liver, fish maw, fish dumpling, mushrooms & lard.
.
Ask for extra Chili if you're a spice enthusiast, the one here packs a punch & is bound to give you more than an extra kick. My Singaporean dictionary can't find a better word other than shiok? Tell me about it.
.
Their Braised Pork ($4) cooked based on a recipe that has passed down from his granny also deserves a special mention. A timeless classic that was succulently tender & fragrant after soaking up all the sweet & savoury elements from the sauce, for which each mouth gives a true taste of home-cooked food blast from the past. Other items on their humble menu includes Fish Maw Bee Hoon ($4/$6), Minced Pork Noodles ($3/$5) & Handmade Fishballs ($3).
.
Thanks @damien_tc for the extended invite, as well as @eunicestagrams & @awssignature for the lovely hospitality!

Their ice cream never disappoints π¦π« π And getting double scoop is rly worth it too ($8 for double scoop, $4.80 for one scoop). After all these years, so glad that the taste is still consistent. Yums!
This Royal Thai Hot Pot from @soithaisoinice fits for the Kings & Queens indeed. ππ .

Each pot comes with generous amount of seafood, roasted pork, sausages, eggs and ramen!π€€π€€π€€ Oh yes, you can choose the level of spiciness for your tomyum soup broth too! Not limited to hotpot, there are also a number of a la carte dishes on the menu as well! πππ»ππ»
A heart-stopping experience with this Martabak Manis Pancake Boss Combo ($9.90) which is a renowned Indonesian sweet treat. The combo pancake comes stuffed with kachang, cheese and chocolate rice. The exterior is finished with a spread of margarine for that additional indulgence. Best to share the calories with 2-3 people.

Ramen. Especially $5 ramen with one time free refill of noodles.
Not the best. Hush. But not too shabby, honestly.
Yes, you read that right β this ramen joint in the heartlands of Hougang dishes out hearty bowls of ramen that are under $8! Prices are nett and there's no service charge or GST, which makes this two-week-old spot really popular with the Hougang residents. Head there early to snag a seat indoors, otherwise be prepared to sweat it out sitting outside. Get appetites going with the Crisp-Fried Baby Squid ($4) or the Green Tea Smoked Duck ($4), which comes with five slices of smoked duck drizzled with passionfruit vinaigrette. For those who want it all, go for the Seven Wonder Ramen ($7.80) that comes with seven toppings, including prawns, ajitama egg and bamboo shoots. It comes with a Thai green chilli seafood sauce that Burppler Jayson Yeo describes to be tangy and fiery, packing a lip-smacking punch! The housemade pork and chicken broth is light yet flavourful β you'll want to slurp it all down to the last drop. Apart from the Seven Wonder Ramen, you won't go wrong with the Miso Kakuni Ramen ($7.80) that comes with perfectly torched pork belly.
Avg Price: $10 per person

Never disappoints. Except Earl Grey Lavender is still my favourite flavour.
Quite a new concept for the lava to be in cookie instead of cake.. Each lava set comes with a scoop of ice cream on every cookie ($8.90). Chose secret garden (tea infuse flavour) ice cream on the chocolate lava cookie and Be my Valentine (white choco with strawberry flavour) ice cream on matcha lava cookie... Felt that the taste of their ice cream was kind of light and could be improved.
