Honestly, this is the best piece of pork I've ever had. It was cooked to a perfect medium-well with an awesome marbling that rendered a melt-in-your-mouth sensation, coupled with the meaty parts that gave a nice chewy (but not rubbery) bite - truly, a wagyu of pork. The sweet pommery mustard glaze and tangy mash were nice additions to the already-amazing pork, oh I miss this pork already.

I would give this dish a full score if not for the three stalks of raw vegetables that didn't do so well with the pork.

This is the appetizer to get if you want the most bang for your buck. Four large prawns are served here, with each of them cooked till nicely firm though lacking a distinctive char. I'd like to say that they come with a side salad, but the greens are so generous they can considered a full portion. The creamy and tangy Marie Rose sauce worked well in bringing the components together; great dish overall!

This was a refreshing starter. The fresh tuna chunks were tossed in fragrant shallots and herbs, with flavours accentuated by the tartness of the soy dressing and topped with crunchy daikon salad. Would recommend serving this in a smaller bowl or shallow plate though, because the large bowl made this dish look puny.

With their flagship store in AMK Hub, Gosh! Inspiring Creations is a seafood take-away concept food kiosk that serves premium seafood at affordable prices. Think Mini Crabs ($5/plate), Mini Lobsters ($4.80 each) and these Half Shell Oysters topped with garlic butter (bottom) and cheese (top). They're, most importantly, fresh, and sized decently for the price.

The concept and food definitely look promising! I'm currently eyeing their Mini Lobster Valued Meal ($6.80), which comes with 6 lobster halves in your choice of sauce (chilli crab or 13-fragrant sauce) and a starch (rice or deep fried mantou).

(clockwise from top left) 3 x Momo Curry, Veggie Mandu, The Original, Fried Pierogi and Smoked Duck.

Despite having an inclination towards unique flavour combinations, The Original was my favourite of the lot. The pork filling had a bouncy bite with the skin pliable - it's great with the vinegar and spring onions and I'm glad they did justice to the most classic of dumplings.

The Momo Curry and Veggie Mandu didn't quite make an impression, while the Fried Pierogi and Smoked Duck, though delicious, were a little too rich for my light palate.

Still a great deal for the portion and quality, but I'd have preferred all 15 on a single plate so that they look more party-like 😆

This is another hearty and beautiful dish by Craftsmen. Once again, everything is generous, generous and generous. The brioche is thick, the smashed avo is satisfyingly creamy, the smoked salmon ain't a pathetic 2-slice, and everything is drenched in their signature sauce that I love most about this dish - it's tangy with mild kicks of spice, which works great for providing a flavour boost.

When you can't decide on what to get from their extensive menu (it's worse when everything sounds delicious), the Craftsmen Full Veggie Breakfast sans processed meat is your best bet. With 2 eggs of choice on toast, sauteed mushrooms, grilled halloumi (argh so good), baked beans, tomato salsa, smashed avocado (oh they're generous with it) and salad in balsamic olive dressing, this dish is bound to fill you up and leave you belly happy.

This is $22 or $24 if I'm not wrong, but it's gonna be worth your money.

Definitely one of the better ones from a cafe, the waffles here at C Plus are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. With their ice cream from @icecreamcookieco, I'd totally recommend topping up for a scoop or two (they're generous with it btw) for an ultimate warm-meets-cold indulgence.

This dish didn't impress. With just 3 florets of broccoli and few cubes of pumpkin (as well as carrots, potato and edamame beans), this tastes just like a Japanese curry don with a few vegetables thrown in. The toasted pita also felt a little redundant.

Similar to the Chickpea Rice Burger, this fills you up pretty quickly so I wouldn't recommend getting this as part of the 8-course set as well.

Rice burgers ain't new, but rice burgers made with black rice and dragonfruit-flavoured rice is something (though I'd say the latter is purely for aesthetics). The rice patties are sticky and chewy, but I'd preferred them more charred on the outside for an added crisp. The chickpea patty was quite bland on its own and needed the cheese and mayo for a flavour boost. With a side of crispy fries, this dish is simply a carb overload so I wouldn't recommend getting this as part of the 8-course set.

Though I must say the service here is pretty top-notch, I mean they even provide disposable gloves (bottom right) for you to hold the burger!

May we all take a moment to admire this beauty 😍 The vibrant colours here really freshen up the generally boring and distasteful look of salads. Freshly cut fruits and vegetables aside, what stood out most was the made-in-house blueberry dressing - it's berry-sweet, mildly tart and very refreshing. I also enjoyed the candied nuts that added a nice, sweet crunch 😋

I'm so glad that Mrs Pho House nailed their version of the Banh Xeo, a savoury crepe sandwiching a multitude of ingredients. The perfectly thin crepe had just the right amount of egginess and crispiness, and the beef was nicely cooked without being overly tough or chewy. I'd return just for this!
