Spam has never been something I would go for. But this is something quite delicious to chomp. Spam Fries anyone?
In need of something warm and hearty go for the Korean Andong Jjimdak which is a black sauce chicken stew with potato and carrots.
Did a salmon overload. Egg with salmon, grilled salmon, salmon belly stew and miso soup with salmon. Itacho is still a reasonably priced, decently fresh Japanese food to enjoy in Singapore. Found out it served lunch menus and a delicious pork salad. Gonna try it the next time!
Located in a quite corner at the Capitol Piazza is Oriole Cafe. Perfect for hanging out on a Saturday. Was more impressed with the main meal like the warm salad made of spinach and portobello mushroom.
If there is a reasonably priced Japanese dining option at Marina Square, this would be the one. Great for lunch specials with a fabulous bonus of free flow appetizers.
In my first visit to Curious Palette I had the crab burger which I thought was on the dry side. I would have preferred it with some form of wetter carb or more sauce. The smoked salmon with eggs on sourdough toast was great. And the flat coffee was almost perfect and not acidic. Lovely place to hang out, with its natural lighting, hanging plants and natural woods. A move away from industrial themed style cafes.
Probably my fifth destructive hot chocolate waterfall visual extravaganza this year, but I still get damn excited each time!
Although a tad too salty for me, I was addicted to the fragrance of the truffle oil and delicious cheesy flakes! Can someone make a perfume out of this, please? 😍 #porticosg #portico #trufflefries
Rich, luxurious chocolate mousse, tart berry coulis, crunchy hazelnut soil, pretty edible flowers, and caramel ice cream.
The surprising popping rock candy and combination of flavours and textures make this signature dessert a whimsical delight!
First time at Kilo! Though this restaurant does not have air con, it was pretty cooling and we sat at the bar-like seats facing the kallang river. We tried a few dishes and I thought this was the best dish of the night! The pasta sauce tasted amazing! On the pricey side but worth a try :)
Situated at quite an ulu location in the town area (orchard), it requires some walking and gps effort to reach the cafe 😅 Went early on a weekday and we were the only customers there. But of course, crazier crowds on weekends which we were lucky to avoid this time. The cafe white interior is really pretty, and there is also a boutique shop in a corner of the cafe. Ambience was great (especially when there wasn't any other customers and we had the whole place to ourselves) Service staff was friendly and service was prompt too. Food was good, I feel, especially the french toast, moist (not the harder kind which I don't really fancy) and not too sweet!😍 Items featured im the photo includes: Triple B $21/Smoked Salmon Crossiant $19/Brioche French Toast $14/Truffle Fries $13/Iced Mocha $6.50. Total bill sums up to $70++ for 2 pax. Verdict: The food is good, arguably mediocre with its higher price tags. But still worth at least a trip to have a try of their food! 3.70/5.0
